My friend uses this method but his relationships only seem to last for a matter of hours. Therefore, I'm not so sure this is a valid method of contraception. Can anyone else help me in deciding upon this?

You know, one of my mom's friends was dating a guy with an eating disorder. My mom's friend was a little over weight and her boyfiend was "under weight" I guess you could say. He was really skinny.

Seriously, there are contraceptives whose side effects are not so concentrated, if that's what "a punch in the stomach" is supposed to mean. And is your friend giving any thought to minimizing the risk of getting/giving STDs?
