How do I send send not much money to the UK from an EU country cheaply?

Will they just accept a cheque in euros or wot? I'm always very confused as to how one does this. Anyway know for def.?

Well they don't cost that much from here. Your bank would be the best ppl to ask surely.

Is a bank draft the best way then? 'Cos I think I've done that before. We live in Portugal and unfortunately the people who work in banks generally don't know their cus from their cotovelos.

If you're doing it regularly then it would prob. be worth them setting up a euro account.

An International Money Order (IMO) is the thing to get as a one off, I think.

Unfortunately your bank should be able to give you the costs of each option available to you.
