feels good don't it?

stevem (blueski), Monday, 9 February 2004 16:02 (twenty-two years ago)

Maybe, but what does it smell like?

Madchen (Madchen), Monday, 9 February 2004 16:05 (twenty-two years ago)

i'm not getting any complaints, but then again this is a pretty polite department

stevem (blueski), Monday, 9 February 2004 16:10 (twenty-two years ago)

i sometimes do the thing John McClaine does in Die Hard, scrunching toes against the carpet - i keep my socks and shirt on tho.

stevem (blueski), Monday, 9 February 2004 16:12 (twenty-two years ago)

the lesson of die hard is to keep your shoes ON.

g--ff (gcannon), Monday, 9 February 2004 16:14 (twenty-two years ago)

my building is only 4 storeys high though - DON'T TRY IT RICKERS

stevem (blueski), Monday, 9 February 2004 16:15 (twenty-two years ago)

I only do this in the summer, nevah in the winter, are you mad?

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Monday, 9 February 2004 16:17 (twenty-two years ago)

it's pretty warm in here - in fact i have to turn my desk fan on most days (aircon's always fux0red)

stevem (blueski), Monday, 9 February 2004 16:18 (twenty-two years ago)

I do this. It freaks ppl out sometimes. Which is good.

mei (mei), Monday, 9 February 2004 20:18 (twenty-two years ago)

i walked to work last week in the fucking rain storm of rain storms. by the time i got there (20-30min walk) my umbrella had torn in half and blew away from me down the street. i was soaked. socks, pants shoes everything. so i had to take off my shoes and stick my wet feet in front of a space heater for the day just to dry off. i walked around the office and made sloshy noises

JaXoN (JasonD), Monday, 9 February 2004 20:26 (twenty-two years ago)

classic. like my head, my feet tend to swell.

Kingfish Funyun (Kingfish), Monday, 9 February 2004 20:44 (twenty-two years ago)

This implies I had shoes on when I came to work! Which is actually the case, but still...

nickalicious (nickalicious), Monday, 9 February 2004 20:56 (twenty-two years ago)

which jobs do not require the wearing of shoes?

stevem (blueski), Monday, 9 February 2004 20:59 (twenty-two years ago)

I'm guessing whatever Momus does.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Monday, 9 February 2004 21:01 (twenty-two years ago)

He's a swimming instructor?

the music mole (colin s barrow), Monday, 9 February 2004 21:24 (twenty-two years ago)

one of the sr designers at the last agency i was at, would always be walking around the office barefoot.
in the summer that is.
i find shoes uncomfortable in general and on occasion appreciate just having sox on.

ya, that's right. just sox. that turn you on¿

dyson (dyson), Monday, 9 February 2004 21:34 (twenty-two years ago)

Well, is that with or without clothes?

tokyo rosemary (rosemary), Tuesday, 10 February 2004 04:37 (twenty-two years ago)

my god, i was sure i'd killed this thread.
and don't be silly - i'm talking just sox¡

dyson (dyson), Tuesday, 10 February 2004 04:45 (twenty-two years ago)

I work in IT and one of the coding guys here rarely wears shoes to work, even though occ health and safety say everyone's supposed to. He's a strange lad, huge shaggy haired roleplayer type who always has on a large leather greatcoat... and no shoes.

Trayce (trayce), Tuesday, 10 February 2004 04:47 (twenty-two years ago)

will you be wearing the sock red hot chili peppers style though?

xpost

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Tuesday, 10 February 2004 04:48 (twenty-two years ago)

you wear JUST socks at work?

tokyo rosemary (rosemary), Tuesday, 10 February 2004 04:56 (twenty-two years ago)

ha ha. yes. just one sock.
one. massive. sock.

you know mind blowing design skills will only get you so far in my industry. sometimes you gotta flaunt other things to get ahead¡

right now i'm working at home on a freelance job - if my computer wasn't right by the window i'd consider it.
eigh, no i wouldn't.

dyson (dyson), Tuesday, 10 February 2004 05:05 (twenty-two years ago)

this thread has spiraled out of control into a horrible pit of vulgarity - and i apologize.

dyson (dyson), Tuesday, 10 February 2004 05:08 (twenty-two years ago)

feel the sincerity!

Kim (Kim), Tuesday, 10 February 2004 05:36 (twenty-two years ago)

you know me better than i know myself.

dyson (dyson), Tuesday, 10 February 2004 05:38 (twenty-two years ago)

well I didn't know you had one. massive. sock.

Kim (Kim), Tuesday, 10 February 2004 05:39 (twenty-two years ago)

what¿ didn't you get my christmas card¿

dyson (dyson), Tuesday, 10 February 2004 05:47 (twenty-two years ago)

Perhaps it should have been better hung (by the mantle, with care - of course).

Kim (Kim), Tuesday, 10 February 2004 05:52 (twenty-two years ago)

i hate you right now.

dyson (dyson), Tuesday, 10 February 2004 06:05 (twenty-two years ago)

feel the sincerity!

Kim (Kim), Tuesday, 10 February 2004 06:09 (twenty-two years ago)

dyson (dyson), Tuesday, 10 February 2004 06:14 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah. Was trying not to think about that. I'm going, I'm going. Sleepy beddie bye time.

Kim (Kim), Tuesday, 10 February 2004 06:16 (twenty-two years ago)

yes, time for visions of sugar plumbs and whot not.

dyson (dyson), Tuesday, 10 February 2004 06:28 (twenty-two years ago)

Classic. Classic. Classic. But, must have provocative, yet tasteful socks. That do not have the word "vulva" written on them.

Skottie, Tuesday, 10 February 2004 07:05 (twenty-two years ago)

ohhhhhhhhhh yeeeeeeeeeh

stevem (blueski), Wednesday, 18 February 2004 14:24 (twenty-two years ago)

Pinkpanther (Pinkpanther), Wednesday, 18 February 2004 14:24 (twenty-two years ago)

As long as you don't put your feet up on the desk, especially if you have ginormous clodhoppers the size of a steroid-enhanced yeti's mother in law.

Sarah (starry), Wednesday, 18 February 2004 14:25 (twenty-two years ago)

Yetis can marry now? Damn those activist judges!

Kingfish Beatbox (Kingfish), Wednesday, 18 February 2004 14:56 (twenty-two years ago)

dave225 (Dave225), Thursday, 27 May 2004 16:06 (twenty-one years ago)

does it fool anyone¿

dyson (dyson), Thursday, 27 May 2004 16:09 (twenty-one years ago)

I gave a pair of my old shoes to an Iranian colleague of mine a couple of years ago.

He now uses them exclusively to go to the toilet in!

I don't follow this.

Keith Watson (kmw), Thursday, 27 May 2004 16:11 (twenty-one years ago)

does it fool anyone¿

No one bothers to look, sadly. sniff.

dave225 (Dave225), Thursday, 27 May 2004 16:14 (twenty-one years ago)

And history repeats itself.

I am wearing girly shoes so I can surreptitiously remove them under the desk and wiggle my toes and scrabble on the wire-wool carpet surface of my typing footrest.
