Whilst I might be tempting fate to deal me a ironic hand here...
has anyone ever felt that shame? Perhaps you've just heard a new CD and you want to tell everyone about it, and no one replies? or you want to talk about your favorite candidate for office, and no one cares enough to even consider talking about him/her with you? Or worse yet, someone dies and you start an RIP thread, and this person's death goes unacknowledged??

musicWell c'mon, man, that's a guaranteed snooze around here.
― Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 11 February 2004 20:42 (twenty-two years ago)
this thread is just tempting me to go and answer all those threads
― dean! (deangulberry), Wednesday, 11 February 2004 20:43 (twenty-two years ago)
it would be interesting to figure out what would guarantee zero replies
― Gear! (Gear!), Wednesday, 11 February 2004 20:44 (twenty-two years ago)
i would've thought this thread, but no!
― dean! (deangulberry), Wednesday, 11 February 2004 20:44 (twenty-two years ago)
so many of those thread titles are wonderfully cryptic and nonsensical
― Gear! (Gear!), Wednesday, 11 February 2004 20:45 (twenty-two years ago)
im also willing to bet that not a single one of those threads is from c*man
― dean! (deangulberry), Wednesday, 11 February 2004 20:45 (twenty-two years ago)
I was going to wait three hours and reply to myself if no one else had done so. then, I was going to stab myself repeatedly with a fork
― Gear! (Gear!), Wednesday, 11 February 2004 20:45 (twenty-two years ago)
I thought for sure my Cleveland FAP thread would garner no replies but sure enough I replied to it.
― lawrence kansas (lawrence kansas), Wednesday, 11 February 2004 20:51 (twenty-two years ago)
I should see how many replies the "reasons why Gear! shouldn't stab himself repeatedly with a fork" thread would get, if any
― Gear! (Gear!), Wednesday, 11 February 2004 20:53 (twenty-two years ago)
I don't know about you all, but I've been making computer snowflakes like crazy ever since that thread was introduced.
