An ironic but funky open letter to all the haters in the Chinese government... Biz Marky and the Dalai Lama do a rap duel.

Have the Beastie Boys freed Tibet yet?

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Thursday, 12 February 2004 21:15 (twenty-two years ago)

No, but they accidentally fried Tibet. In spicy pepper oil covered in a nice egg batter. mmmmmmmm.

donut bitch (donut), Thursday, 12 February 2004 21:16 (twenty-two years ago)

Tibet Rangoon!

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Thursday, 12 February 2004 21:20 (twenty-two years ago)

Mmmmmm. More flavor than Fruit Stripe gum.

martin m. (mushrush), Thursday, 12 February 2004 21:21 (twenty-two years ago)

The very minute they "free" those damn Tibetans, I say we hit them with all their unpaid IMF loans from the 40's... with interest!

andy, Thursday, 12 February 2004 21:23 (twenty-two years ago)

what kind of question is that?? the boys haven't been popular since i dont know when!!!!

Yeah. They are making a break with tradition and realising a good album.

regards,

REB

your misspelling in the subject thread, whether purposeful or not, fills me with such great disdain for you that I will not offer a legitmate answer.

OTM!

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Friday, 13 February 2004 03:09 (twenty-two years ago)

can anyone give me some info about it?

Not much is verified, except that it'll suck.

Tuomas (Tuomas), Friday, 13 February 2004 12:35 (twenty-two years ago)

Hey! It's a hip young advertising mole!!

Markelby (Mark C), Friday, 13 February 2004 12:47 (twenty-two years ago)

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Friday, 13 February 2004 13:57 (twenty-two years ago)

That's a star-nosed mole, people.

ENRQ (Enrique), Friday, 13 February 2004 13:58 (twenty-two years ago)

WTF is that thing on his snout? Is that what it really looks like? i think i just threw up in my mouth.

Chris V (Chris V), Friday, 13 February 2004 13:59 (twenty-two years ago)

It's an extremely sensitive nose. I've seen a film of it 'in action' -- it's fucking intense.

ENRQ (Enrique), Friday, 13 February 2004 14:00 (twenty-two years ago)

It looks like a prolapsed rectum.

Chris V (Chris V), Friday, 13 February 2004 14:00 (twenty-two years ago)

The right-hand claw on the lower mole is unconvincing.

ENRQ (Enrique), Friday, 13 February 2004 14:02 (twenty-two years ago)

EW.

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Friday, 13 February 2004 14:07 (twenty-two years ago)

Jesus! You all getting squeamed by a mole. I'm inordinately fond of these creatures. It's quite amazing, trust me. Also saw this 'sand-mole' that like swims in sand...

ENRQ (Enrique), Friday, 13 February 2004 14:09 (twenty-two years ago)

Hmmm : Mole Poblano.

Pete (Pete), Friday, 13 February 2004 14:11 (twenty-two years ago)

A quick google reveals that you are one sick fuc, Baran.

ENRQ (Enrique), Friday, 13 February 2004 14:13 (twenty-two years ago)

the mole is nibbling janet's breast

jhhuizh, Friday, 13 February 2004 14:23 (twenty-two years ago)

this album is going to sound all wrong, the ilm threads will be heated and long

Ronan (Ronan), Friday, 13 February 2004 14:24 (twenty-two years ago)

Was that rhyme done in the style of Mike D, Ronan?

ENRQ (Enrique), Friday, 13 February 2004 14:27 (twenty-two years ago)

it sure was, I couldn't think of a third and fourth line.

Ronan (Ronan), Friday, 13 February 2004 14:31 (twenty-two years ago)

I'll save tibet like I save hits from the bong?

chris (chris), Friday, 13 February 2004 14:32 (twenty-two years ago)

I was saving Tibet when Calum was sucking his mother's dick.

ENRQ (Enrique), Friday, 13 February 2004 14:34 (twenty-two years ago)

hehe, I used to love the Beastie Boys. The first song I can ever remember seeing a video for or really hearing was "Fight For Your Right", I guess I was 5 or so. It was followed by "Always On My Mind" by the Pet Shop Boys, if that's actually possible. It's odd cos I got into the Beastie Boys then at age 13 or so and the Pet Shop Boys about 7 years later.

Ronan (Ronan), Friday, 13 February 2004 14:35 (twenty-two years ago)

I got mocked about my relative youth on Tuesday after the Rapture after telling that story

Ronan (Ronan), Friday, 13 February 2004 14:36 (twenty-two years ago)

I bought a PSBs record, 'You Were Always On My Mind', when I was 16 (June 1997), but was too embarrassed/oppressed by homophobe rockist indie fucs to say. Only now do I play 'em loud. beasties I liked at that age, but I can't deal with their rhyming now. 'Paul's Boutique' instrumental, or with Young MC instead of the Boys, would be stylin'.

ENRQ (Enrique), Friday, 13 February 2004 14:38 (twenty-two years ago)

Was the Rapture doing the mocking?

Jordan (Jordan), Friday, 13 February 2004 14:48 (twenty-two years ago)

I did always want to get their instrumental album, but then I figured it would be better just to get some 70s Jimmy Smith records (and I was right).

Jordan (Jordan), Friday, 13 February 2004 14:48 (twenty-two years ago)

No I think it was both my friends who must be 26 or so and maybe Lauren aswell, I kind of forget, I'd had alot of budvar.

Ronan (Ronan), Friday, 13 February 2004 14:50 (twenty-two years ago)

i saw them open for madonna. i have a paul's boutique tattoo. i own a numbered, signed edition of the aforementioned instrumental album. i shall always love them.

that's why i think the person who started this thread is such a twat.
