And now since I *am* here, I can say that I might have posted something about zer Boingo, but as I didn't grow up in LA (lived there during UCLA years, yes -- and that's it) in the early to mid-eighties, I didn't become a raving Boingo fanatic like so many others I know. Trust me, it really was a case of being in a specific time and place -- and it didn't have much to do with goths.

Rozz is of course a different story, as is Valor. "Your church makes me VOMIT into the vertiginous abyss..."

Alice 2 score is not quite as good as the first one but solid. The new release of his Rabbit and Rogue dance score is supposed to be amazing. Of other recent elfman scores, I was surprised how much I liked Dark Shadows. Just really meaty satisfying low end doom stuff. The Unknown Known was also really good.

2010 was freakishly good for him, with Alice and Wolf Man back to back and I think Wanted not long after?
