Kevin is old skool ILM and he used to post sarky questions under fake names too. I still look at the front page yo and I think putting 'new answers' posts just to get new answers is vulgar unless you're actually making some additional point.

Tom E is spot on - just writing 'new answers new answers' is DUD *unless* it is genuinely urgent (as, maybe, cf. the 11.9.2001 posts).

The way to combat this of course, is to use the Unanswered Questions page rather than New Answers (if indeed there's anything on the Unanswered Questions page)

I stopped doing new answers this week! I only did it just in case my questions went unanswered (there there james it'll be okay). I saw the Others, such a yawnfest.

I saw 13 Ghosts, that was awful, I mean what the hell? It didn't make any sense, it was so stupid, but not as stupid as The One which was possibly the worst movie ever, it wasn't even a good commercial. From Hell was pretty good but it upset me.

This might be a dumb suggestion.. but why not have new questions default to the New Answers section when spawned? (Is this custom HTML software running this? Or a message board template of some kind?)
