Clash is a re-launch of Glasgow/Dundee's Vibe title. It is gettin gfull UK distribution and wil lbe available in all branches of WH Smith. The team has excellent music taste, hence a 3-page feature on Ghostly International.

right, that magazine

Vibe magazine

I was aware that they wanted to change their name because of the American Vibe magazine.

a switch in music direction: from dull retro rockers Kings of Leon

to an article on Ghostly International ..looks they are moving in the right direction.

well nothing more wrong than any other alright enough music magazine.

Isn't it owned by the Word/Mixmag people now?

James Mitchell, Tuesday, 12 January 2010 15:56 (sixteen years ago)

I read it.

Apparently, everything is fantastic.

That's nice.

Mark G, Tuesday, 12 January 2010 23:01 (sixteen years ago)

I've read it a few times (though none recently) and it was OK but it was just so wildly inconsistent about whether it wanted to cover revered techno producers on moodily hip design or whether it wanted to splatter typo-filled hyperbole about the Subways among dayglo pictures which cut off half-words at the end of all the lines

maybe it is different now, of course

Is this the only remaining cross-genre monthly magazine with no cover CD? (counting Wire as niche plus has a CD fairly often; the Word seems to have a CD too now)
