Have you ever eaten meat without nitrates in it? I've eaten nitrate free turkey and chicken and it tastes much better than any chicken or turkey I've had with nitrates in it. Do they only put nitrates in fowl? I haven't seen nitrate free beef or pork yet.

If you've never eaten nitrate free chicken or turkey, I encourage you to.

Is it an American thing Aja? I haven't seen anything over here (UK - I'm up late) labelled as nitrate free. Although I agree with you that organic stuff with no additives is nicer.

I've only seen it in places that sell organic things as well as meat. Some of those organic places don't sell meat.

Not all the people who eat orgainic food are vegitarians and vegans you know!

They do serve Mediteranian stuff now too. They have new owners. Still sell the pizza things though. I went there yesterday and bought chips and a pastry for a couple of my 8th grade friends.
