Can you tell me the full meaning of the term "Male Gaze" if possible. or can you tell me where i can find the defination of that term, i searched in google but it didn't give me enough information about that. so that is why i wanted help in it.

Laura Mulvey's idea that in [Holywood] cinema every female character is defined by how she is looked upon (and by the fact THAT she is looked upon) by 'the male', whether that is other characters or the audience (the audience always being sexed as male).
