So people really did name their children after Dynasty characters.

El Diablo Robotico (Nicole), Tuesday, 24 February 2004 02:20 (twenty-two years ago)

Chris Rock at the MTV awards 2003 : "Good Charlotte? Eh, more like a mediocre Green Day".
That is the first, last, and final word on GC as far as I'm concerned.

Barry Bruner (Barry Bruner), Tuesday, 24 February 2004 02:20 (twenty-two years ago)

Anthony M's dream is about to come true.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 24 February 2004 02:20 (twenty-two years ago)

please post, again, sammy jo.

RJG (RJG), Tuesday, 24 February 2004 02:21 (twenty-two years ago)

oh, I've spoken my peace about this subject plenty.

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Tuesday, 24 February 2004 02:24 (twenty-two years ago)

This belongs on ILM, no? (where it can receive the proper amount of...umm..."scrutiny").

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Tuesday, 24 February 2004 16:13 (twenty-two years ago)

Do Blink 182 get any royalties from GC's sales?

regards,

REB

Rik E Boy (Rik E Boy), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 02:19 (twenty-two years ago)

mr. miccio has broken my heart.

Eisbär (llamasfur), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 02:22 (twenty-two years ago)

well unless they release a Results May Vary, I'm sure the new album coming out this summer will give me plenty to do cartwheels over.

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 02:24 (twenty-two years ago)

I DEMAND ENTERTAINMENT

Eisbär (llamasfur), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 02:24 (twenty-two years ago)

and from what I've read, the guys don't seem hung up on proving they're actually a RAWK band, which is great. I'll be disappointed if the first single follows the usual "generic sludge for the boycrowd" motif rock bands use (saving the pop hit for the second single). I hope they go more "Feeling This" than "The Rock Show," to use Rik E Boy's comparison.

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 02:26 (twenty-two years ago)

fine, you want entertainment? Here's something to make Alex In NYC punch his computer screen in. VOILA!

Eisbär (llamasfur), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 02:29 (twenty-two years ago)

AHHHHHH!!

OMG!!

Ugly!!!

Aja (aja), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 02:30 (twenty-two years ago)

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 02:31 (twenty-two years ago)

What about Billy?

Aja (aja), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 02:34 (twenty-two years ago)

he looks like he's got some fuckin' attitude too. This pic strikes me as rather Doyle-ish.

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 02:35 (twenty-two years ago)

He's the best looking one.

Forget all the others.

I don't even like Good Charlotte.

Aja (aja), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 02:41 (twenty-two years ago)

They should all expire.

Alex in NYC (vassifer), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 03:15 (twenty-two years ago)

Yes.

But I have to admit, I like Billy's hair. And that thing on his lip.

Other than that, Good Charlotte should just work at the Tower in DC. My mom worked there.

Aja (aja), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 03:19 (twenty-two years ago)

"Those people who shun us just because of the label we're on, or the fact that we've got a video out there that's getting us somewhere, are only limiting themselves, because they aren't keeping an open mind. Besides, no band has ever given us shit for our career path. It's mostly just jaded punkers. And if that's the way they're gonna be, I'd rather have someone who doesn't know a thing about punk coming to our shows, 'cause they're the ones who like it for what it is, not for what it isn't."
- Joel Madden

"Although I consider myself a punk rocker, Billy (guitar) listens to alot of metal, paul (bass) is into the Pixies and Sebadoh, and my brother worships Morrissey"
- Benji of G.C

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 03:19 (twenty-two years ago)

Though it really doesn't fit here, I just thought that last quote was kinda neat.

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 03:20 (twenty-two years ago)

It just reminds me of the guy in Limp Bizkit who said he liked Portishead and DCD -- didn't excuse the end results!

Ned Raggett (Ned), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 03:21 (twenty-two years ago)

just don't call Paul an emo kid -- he's indie!

Anthony Miccio (Anthony Miccio), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 03:22 (twenty-two years ago)

One of the guys from Good Charlotte likes Dave Grohl.

So I encourage him especially to work at the Tower in DC seeing as to how Dave applied for the job. I don't think he actually worked there. I think he went on tour with Scream instead.

Aja (aja), Wednesday, 25 February 2004 03:23 (twenty-two years ago)

five months pass...
seeeee
