Bush's Secretary of Education calls Teachers Union a "Terrorist Organization"

Then he offers a half-assed apology saying that he supports teachers but the Union is using "scare tactics" to fight the President's brilliant "No Child Left Behind" program.

Isn't it a bit scary for one secretary in the cabinet to be using "terorist organization" so flippantly while another secretary in the cabinet is threatening to take away the citizenship of anyone suspected of being part of a terrorist organization?

It's typical.

So when do we invade the jungle gym?

Pissing off the teachers' union is not a terribly good idea.

It may be typical in the sense of "politicians make ridiculous claims" but in the midst of the War on Terror and Homeland Security mania that they're hyping, I find it pretty shocking.

If they take away the citizenship of all teachers America may go further downhill, I suspect.
