That thread title sounds like a Notion to me.

Many have suggested to me that I should become a novelist. What they fail to realise is that I am RUBBISH at character identification and setting up emotional interactions between characters yada yada. I am improving, but only very VERY slowly. I'm inclined to give this one a miss, though not forever.
