My god, Ultimate Soccer Manager was a crock of shit.

Anyway, search:

Tracksuit Manager- massively detailed for a game that was released in, what, 1988? Had newspaper reports (and this is a good five years before Sim City 2000 managed the same thing), international contests, and a great depth.

Football Managers 1&2- the dons. 2 was pretty fun, actually, especially with the editor add-on, where I put all the kids that went to primary school with me on the game, over, like, Des Walker and Terry Butcher.

Multi-Player Soccer Manager- WHY CAN'T I FIND A ROM FOR THIS ANYWHERE. Management game. For multiplayers. Turns went over in aboiut ten seconds so it was really easy to actually play a hot seat game, and progress to managing Liverpool while your mate was stuck at Chesterfield.

Destroy:

Ultimate Soccer Manager: and any other game where, instead of managing, you decide prices for pies and put up advertising boards (Premier Manager 1 excluded)

Tactical Manager- management game with 40 team league. Yes, well done.

Football Manager 3 and World Cup Edition: A stain on the modern game. Stupid "psychology" bit included that involved you answering questions, and your answers affecting your players, or something. No indication as to whwat happened, though, and probably a big old lie.

Ultimate Soccer Manager was great! You could bring Ronaldo to Exeter City!

Think about what you've just said...

Search: the series of games on the Commodore 64 that had exactly the same engine, just with the license changed. Stuff like European Manager, Kenny Dalglish's Soccer Manager, Kevin Keegan's Soccer Manager... I think Souness may even have got one.

Search: Premier Manager 2. It was really easy - I won the treble four seasons in a row with Oxford Utd once.
