see what you get

A Nairn (moretap), Saturday, 6 March 2004 07:49 (twenty-one years ago)

just the first one is relevant:
I got +11

A Nairn (moretap), Saturday, 6 March 2004 07:50 (twenty-one years ago)

it seems kind of inaccurate, but most of these types of quizzes are.

A Nairn (moretap), Saturday, 6 March 2004 07:54 (twenty-one years ago)

also +11

gareth (gareth), Saturday, 6 March 2004 07:55 (twenty-one years ago)

This test is freaking ridiculous. I got -19.

Which makes me "nearly masculine" pushing masculine. What a load of crap. Who came up with these concepts of "masculine" and "feminine" anyway? Momus? Cause it sure as hell didn't involve actual women.

(I know I'm not stereotypically particularly "feminine" but that's a joke.)

The River Kate (kate), Saturday, 6 March 2004 10:35 (twenty-one years ago)

+14, but it is drivel.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Saturday, 6 March 2004 10:46 (twenty-one years ago)

I got +11 as well, and it's quite similar to the results I've got from other tests like this. I once took a bit longer gender test, which had five different options for the final result: "a masculine man", "a feminine man", "androgynous", "a masculine woman" and "a feminine woman". My gender was "a feminine woman".

Tuomas (Tuomas), Saturday, 6 March 2004 10:53 (twenty-one years ago)

I got -3.

Andrew (enneff), Saturday, 6 March 2004 11:52 (twenty-one years ago)

I actually feel kinda upset that I ended up on the masculine side of the scale.

Andrew (enneff), Saturday, 6 March 2004 11:55 (twenty-one years ago)

+4, but then 2 (usually not true) was my most common answer. Coz like I'm not very assertive and not particularly affectionate. Oh well.

jel -- (jel), Saturday, 6 March 2004 12:11 (twenty-one years ago)

+14 Nearly feminine

2 = Usually not true
3 = Sometimes but infrequently true
4 = Occasionally true

Seem like bad wording for graduating frequency

N. (nickdastoor), Saturday, 6 March 2004 16:00 (twenty-one years ago)

+14 means to me that I rate myself quite highly - most of the feminine traits seem good and most of the masculine ones seem bad. This could be because men suck (except on ILE, it seems) or it could be because the test uses an outmoded 1970s concept of masculinity.

N. (nickdastoor), Saturday, 6 March 2004 16:04 (twenty-one years ago)

Are any other women going to take the test, or am I going to remain the freak that I feel right now? OK, we already knew that all the ILX men were girly-boys and big girls blouses, but I'd like some backup here. Sigh.

The River Kate (kate), Saturday, 6 March 2004 18:16 (twenty-one years ago)

+13?

I'll just go get me coat.

And handbag.

And go and wax my legs.

(Jesus Christ)

Johnney B (Johnney B), Saturday, 6 March 2004 18:21 (twenty-one years ago)

-433

I never learned to count -_-

Curt1s St3ph3ns, Saturday, 6 March 2004 18:22 (twenty-one years ago)

I got a 0

tokyo rosemary (rosemary), Saturday, 6 March 2004 18:23 (twenty-one years ago)

Isn't it cool that we all think this test is a pile of poo, but we all spent 5 mins scribbling on bits of paper for it?

I feel bad about myself that if it turned out that I was a big butch bastard, I would feel that the test was remarkably accurate.

Johnney B (Johnney B), Saturday, 6 March 2004 18:26 (twenty-one years ago)

We only decided that the test was poo after scribbling furiously at the questions and not getting the responses that we wanted.

Or maybe androngyny has been held up as such an ideal amidst "our culture" (define how you like) that we give the responses we would *like* to espouse rather than those we actually do.

(Though really, I am a competetive, uncompassionate bastard at heart.)

The River Kate (kate), Sunday, 7 March 2004 14:00 (twenty-one years ago)

I got a -6, but since when are traits like 'leadership ability' 'masculine' or 'feminine'?

Kerry (dymaxia), Sunday, 7 March 2004 14:16 (twenty-one years ago)

+11. I'm nearly feminine.

If I had chosen responses according to traits I would more *like* to espouse, I'd probably be androgenous or slightly masculine according to them. (but the test is bullshit)

JuliaA (j_bdules), Sunday, 7 March 2004 15:06 (twenty-one years ago)

I got Androgynous. I got a +4.

This actually makes sense in my case.

Aja (aja), Sunday, 7 March 2004 15:20 (twenty-one years ago)

four years pass...

The test is freaking GONE, but the point is I cannot not be a tomboy in spite of my most charmed school efforts! I sweat out tomboy sweat?
