q1 - how has turning into a police state affected supply, prices etc

q2 - since everybody's gotten hysterically cocooned and conservative is it uncool to even ask questions of this nature anymore

I just moved to the Carolinas from Texas partly/subcosnciously to escape a habit. This would have been silly a few years ago when the Apps were overrun with Oxycontin, but I hear that epideminc has almost completely ebbed and dried up. I hope that's true.
