This is what I have been saying to myself lately on reading ILE. But then I thought: huh, I wonder what the people from New Zealand say when they log on and see so many posts from ENGLAND. Well?

Oh, Ed! Now I've read that other thread and as a Tasmanian I have to point out that the Tasmanian Aboriginal Genocide thing is a myth on two levels: firstly, there are still a lot of people who identify as Tasmanian Aboriginals, sure they are not 100% Aboriginal (most of them probably aren't even 6.25% Aboriginal) but to not acknowledge their claim/existence is wrong and, secondly, they didn't just go around shooting them, they put them all on a reserve where they caught the measles or mumps or 'flu or something from some English guy and because of no resistance they all karked it.

Personally I don't think any of it is an issue though. A heap of English guys come along, find a country, invade it, kill most of the people who were there already. What's the problem?

don't forget we used our scottish and irish minions to do it. (after first doing a good genocide job on scotland and ireland) mind you the tradinitons of engliush genocide go back way further than that. great tradition in england of either being invaded by, or inviting foriegn people in calling them king and english. we've spent most of our time being ruled by forigners or the descendant of foreigners, it jsut more comforting to call em english.
