im thinking to myself, when i think of a movie like this now, i think orentalism, exoticsed other, barley concealed racism, but when i watch a hollywood b movie from the 30s-50s i just enjoy the adventure, (like when i read h ridder haggard) do i just expect people to know better ? what does it say about me ?

This looks like a film that, despite the rating (it's PG-13, right?), would be an excellent film to take the boy (soon to be 5) to. Horse, adventure, swordfights, all the stuff bro mentioned up dere...
