I am 22 yrs old and in college. I am about to marry a man in the air force. Once we are married I would like to join my husband at his duty station but i am afraid that my mother will be upset with me for leaving school. How can i make my mother happy and my future husband?

can you continue your education where your husband is stationed?

Go back to school where he's stationed.

I thought this thread would be about disappoing moms, like last week when I found out that my mother has a crush on two of the hobbits.

I keep disappointing my mom, but she keeps reappointing herself.

two of the hobbits? my mom just loves aragorn.

i disappoint my mom all the time. i wouldn't worry about it too much; she's yr mom, and she'll probably get over it.

I can't believe how badly I misspelled disappointing, that would disappoint my mom.

But, yeah, how many more credits do you need to graduate? See if your school will let you take correspondance courses, or online courses, if they other them. Otherwise, see if you can transfer to a school near where your husband is transferred. Personally, I'd suggest finishing up and then getting married, but depending on your situation that may not be possible or desirable.

put off the marriage til you've finished studying. it'll only get in the way and make you drop out of school anyway. maybe.

Its mediocre satire if it isn't, but sadly I think she means it all.
