Mike Hanle y, Sunday, 21 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Ha ha, my old address is still on the list.

Josh, Sunday, 21 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

KEEP IN MIND I always am +315 adding my posts from when I had to take another email address

Then you are false, evil and bad, and should be beaten with sticks. Or not.

Ned Raggett, Sunday, 21 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Ned, you are raggety

Mike Hanle y, Sunday, 21 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

god damnit, where can I find out how many posts I have done, and how many more I have to add until I get onto the Stats cock.

Di, you are a goddess

Menelaus Darcy, Sunday, 21 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I was actually thinking about starting a new StatsCock sorta thread. Was gonna call it "Le Coq Statistique." Hanle y beat me to the punch. AND I'M NUMBER 20 ON LE COQ STATISTIQUE!!!

Tadeusz Suchodolski, Sunday, 21 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Ned, you are raggety

No, velvety.

Ned Raggett, Sunday, 21 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

congradulations Magic Tadz

Mike Hanle y, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

The name Ned Raggett is pleasing! It sounds like a corduroy teddy bear.

lily, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

*blush* Aw. Thanks! :-)

Ned Raggett, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

my real name is bearington m. mofuzzy, what about that?

ethan, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Sounds like a real bear, not a toy bear. Real bears are as nice as toy ones.

lily, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

But they do indulge in a bit more killing and maiming.

lily, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

But they do indulge in a bit more killing and maiming.

That's why real bears are more cool than teddy bears.

Tadeusz Suchodolski, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

thank you, my fans menelaus and mr. hanle y. and bear in mind that i also changed my e-mail address, so i'm even more of a godess than you could possibly imagine.

di, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

the m stands for mohammed, i should add.

ethan, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Are you going over the mountain to see what you can see?

lily, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Or are you going to demand that the mountain be brought to you?

lily, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

i as well have changed my email adress

anthonyeaston, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I have like 400 posts this month...I may go top 10 this month. Does this new StatCock have any new features?

james, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

That's why real bears are more cool than teddy bears.

It is the fact that teddy bears are thought to be innocent which makes us so subtle and crafty. Unlike lawyers, say. ;-)

Ned Raggett, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

you made tadz cry!

ethan, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

i want the stats cock to cum

Geoff, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Go on then, I can tell anyone who isn't on the statscock how many posts they've made. I mean I'd only be working otherwise.

Tom, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

can you tell me how many posts ladydie6@hotmail.com made and how many were made by cheezwhizz@hotmail.com? just so i know how many i've made altogether.

di, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

ladydie@another.com = 372.

ladydie6@hotmail.com = 152

ladydie@hotmail.com = 4

cheezwhizz@hotmail.com = 36

And Menelaus Darcy has made 182.

Tom, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Tom, how many? (Damn...I'd actually made it to the bottom before I had to change addresses)

Bill, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Can people asking me how many list all the addresses they want counted?

Tom, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

memmemmeemeeee! Just this address. I think the number will be pretty pathetic though.

Sam, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

In that case: Can I have individual counts for catscall79@hotmail.com and ajames@rmplc.co.uk. cheersy

Bill, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Sam - 199

Tom, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Ajames = 64. Catscall and related misspellings = 234.

Tom, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

do you think I'm Menelaus, Tom?

i suppose you could be forgiven for thinking that because i'm presently using her laptop.

di, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

182! woooh! stats cock baby, I'm on my way. Mike Hanle y get out the lotion I'll be there real soon

Menelaus Darcy, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Di - no, I mentioned Menelaus cuz she asked upthread.

Tom, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

The October statscock chart battle looks like a particulatly hard- fought one, too.

Tom, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I try and try and I shall never make it woe is me.

I guess I jsut dont have enough things to say or enought time to think them. I shall try not to think in the future.

Mr Noodles, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Just need to post something for a little experiment...

Your posting is now in the database.

  • Generating alerts...

Where am I in this months chart please, Tom?...I must be top ten!

james, Monday, 22 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I'll fill all requests when I've finished sharking MP3s for the focus group.

Tom, Tuesday, 23 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

i heart stastscocklove

Geoff, Friday, 26 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

Damm. I've always been content to nestle at the foot of the statscock while avoiding relegation - just call me Everton! - 'cos it meant I was a participant but not a compulsive poster. Now I've got to change my email address in the next couple of days and all my hard work will be undone, sob sob. I know you're meant to get right back on the statscock that's thrown you off, but not sure if I have the energy (I need the services of a statscock whisperer, obv.)

Andrew L, Friday, 26 October 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

in case no-one's noticed, there's a fierce fight for #20 brewing on le coq statistique -- betwixt Maria, Ethan, and yers truly.

Tadeusz Suchodolski, Sunday, 28 October 2001 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

hey would someone be able to post a link to the statscock page on this thread, cos i can't find the old statscock thread anywhere on the categorised page.

i love typing the word "statscock".

di, Monday, 29 October 2001 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Dudes! I broke 500. Oh happy day.

Kim, Monday, 29 October 2001 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

Moi, please.

David, Tuesday, 30 October 2001 01:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I remember when I used to worship the Statscock. I'm not even in the top 50! It's amazing!

Sarah McLusky (coco), Thursday, 4 March 2004 18:16 (twenty-one years ago)

I still have yet to ask a question on ILE or ILM.

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Thursday, 4 March 2004 18:21 (twenty-one years ago)

i am nestling in 76th place just underneath Madchen and Carsmile, which is a lovely place to be. Though this post will put me between them. Hmmm...

ailsa (ailsa), Thursday, 4 March 2004 18:25 (twenty-one years ago)

one month passes...
It just dawned on my that ILXors are referred to as 'users' on the link at the bottom. I think the connotations of 'user' make it an apt choice of words.

oops (Oops), Wednesday, 7 April 2004 23:41 (twenty-one years ago)

Has anyone noticed that Jess just moved ahead of Mark S within the last week or two to reach #2 of all time, all boards?

jaymc (jaymc), Thursday, 8 April 2004 03:46 (twenty-one years ago)

thankfully no, i did not notice.

oops (Oops), Thursday, 8 April 2004 03:48 (twenty-one years ago)

Why thankfully?

jaymc (jaymc), Thursday, 8 April 2004 03:50 (twenty-one years ago)

because I would have to kill myself if I had that tight of a grip on the statscock. next thing you know I'd be collecting ILXor trading cards.

oops (Oops), Thursday, 8 April 2004 03:53 (twenty-one years ago)

"what will you give me for this ultra-rare Ned where his hair is tinted red?"

oops (Oops), Thursday, 8 April 2004 03:54 (twenty-one years ago)

I think I have a '01 Hanle y.

jaymc (jaymc), Thursday, 8 April 2004 03:58 (twenty-one years ago)

NO WAY!

oops (Oops), Thursday, 8 April 2004 04:00 (twenty-one years ago)

i have the super-rare limited edition goato mountington

the surface noise (electricsound), Thursday, 8 April 2004 04:03 (twenty-one years ago)

Actually, I also have an '03 Sarah McLusky "Rising Star" series -- since she entered the league in late 2002, they didn't have time to compile full 2002 season stats for her. I can't tell whether her posting less in the last few months has made it more or less valuable, though.

jaymc (jaymc), Thursday, 8 April 2004 04:03 (twenty-one years ago)

Um, exactly a year ago today I posted my first post to ILE. I was very intimidated by this environment and thought I'd just post a couple dozen posts to this forum and then return to the world of lurking.

2,556 posts later and I've come to find that I'm already at #102 in the "all-time posts" list thingy. I'm currently at #59 in the "30 days" list thingy, which is rather impressive for someone who isn't here all the time. I think.

How did it all happen? How did I get sucked in?

Many Coloured Halo (Dee the Lurker), Thursday, 8 April 2004 04:36 (twenty-one years ago)

gravity, dee.

I don't wanna brag but I have the super-ultra-rare commemorative "Nate P's Retirement" card. Only 200 were printed before he announced his comeback.

oops (Oops), Thursday, 8 April 2004 06:25 (twenty-one years ago)

Anyone got a first edition Barry?

Markelby (Mark C), Thursday, 8 April 2004 11:03 (twenty-one years ago)

there is a surplus of jel's

jel -- (jel), Thursday, 8 April 2004 15:32 (twenty-one years ago)

Never!

Markelby (Mark C), Thursday, 8 April 2004 15:34 (twenty-one years ago)

We demand MORE jels!

Markelby (Mark C), Thursday, 8 April 2004 15:34 (twenty-one years ago)

two months pass...
blimey! Ned has been usurped! Where did Mary make all her posts?

jel -- (jel), Friday, 11 June 2004 18:46 (twenty-one years ago)

Maybe it was on one of Ned's 43 threads.

deanomgwtf!!!p%3Fmsgid%3D4581997 (deangulberry), Friday, 11 June 2004 18:48 (twenty-one years ago)

I've dropped out of the top 50!!! do you still love me??

teeny (teeny), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 12:08 (twenty-one years ago)

currently nestling at 19. Not sure what the highest I've been is, although i'm pretty sure I have never been in the Top 10.

MarkH (MarkH), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 12:13 (twenty-one years ago)

I am at number 336, which does not surprise me. What does suprise me is who my neighbours there are: supposedly I am a few places above Markelby, stevem, cozen, RJG & others. It doesn't make sense, for I still see these people around.

Eyeball Kicks (Eyeball Kicks), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 12:57 (twenty-one years ago)

well after altering my e-mail address there are two versions of me so that's why i'm so lowdown and yet so very high up

stevem (blueski), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 13:00 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh yeah, I see you're at number 3 as well - quite a celebrity.

Eyeball Kicks (Eyeball Kicks), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 13:01 (twenty-one years ago)

Not sure what I'm doing down there - I'm 21 for this month, and 52 for all time.

Markelby (Mark C), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 13:02 (twenty-one years ago)

And I see there are two RJGs also, but I can't see what the difference between them is.

Eyeball Kicks (Eyeball Kicks), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 13:03 (twenty-one years ago)

There is no way Mary has made 2647 posts in the last month. Not according to the search function she hasn't, anyway.

I think the statscock is being artificially aroused.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 13:05 (twenty-one years ago)

I'd like to think I haven't made 1038 posts in the last month as well, but tragically I think that may be accurate.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 13:06 (twenty-one years ago)

what does the no. in brackets mean?

MarkH (MarkH), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 13:13 (twenty-one years ago)

Its the number of threads you've started in the last month.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 13:14 (twenty-one years ago)

ok, Ned appears to be winning that, followed by Jon.

MarkH (MarkH), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 13:16 (twenty-one years ago)

103. And I see that I have only started 1 thread this month, which seems entirely commensurate with the amount I have to say about anything.

Archel (Archel), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 13:19 (twenty-one years ago)

but what a thread!

MarkH (MarkH), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 13:20 (twenty-one years ago)

Haha. I have started at least 2 on ILB though.

Archel (Archel), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 13:21 (twenty-one years ago)

nr 79! I thought I'd be lower than that, obviously I'm still a convert :-/

Pashmina (Pashmina), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 13:23 (twenty-one years ago)

Top 100! Rah rah rah. I don't think I've managed that before.

Gregory Henry (Gregory Henry), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 13:33 (twenty-one years ago)

Mary's position at #1 for the last month is similar to when Aja was #2 or 3 a few months ago. She was posting a lot, but not as much as her statscock position indicated (it also said she started, like, 50 threads). I find this glitch unsettling.

jaymc (jaymc), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 14:24 (twenty-one years ago)

It's a feminist consipiracy!

El Diablo Robotico (Nicole), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 14:31 (twenty-one years ago)

29th!!

jel -- (jel), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 15:46 (twenty-one years ago)

This having two places because of an email change is weird. The lower of the two of me isn't linked to my user page. When will he usurp the title as the real me?

Curiouser and curiouser.

martin m. (mushrush), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 16:13 (twenty-one years ago)

Also funny how many frequent posters are showing up at the bottom of the list now with gmail accounts.

martin m. (mushrush), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 16:14 (twenty-one years ago)

that's the rule of the statscock, change your email address go to the bottom of the queue. We can only marvel at its mysterious ways.

jel -- (jel), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 16:17 (twenty-one years ago)

Wow, I've dropped to 35. That's probably good.

How come my name isn't a link?

roxymuzak (roxymuzak), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 16:55 (twenty-one years ago)

Also funny how many frequent posters are showing up at the bottom of the list now with gmail accounts.

That's why I'm afraid to change over!

jaymc (jaymc), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 16:58 (twenty-one years ago)

I don't know how many times I've said this but I'll say it agian cause I love you all, or enough of ya.
The Statscock has a Statistical Transmitted Disease.
It doesn't speak the truth.

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Tuesday, 15 June 2004 17:01 (twenty-one years ago)

Beats me. This appears to be totally arbitrary.
