"Plot Synopsis:
Orphaned at a young age, Wildboy was raised in the Pacific Northwest by Bigfoot, a large, hairy man-thing. Together, Bigfoot and Wildboy combated the various forces of evil in their part of the country. Besides being extremely strong, Bigfoot could also use super powered jumps to get to high places or to cover far distances. Helping (and occasionally hindering) Bigfoot and Wildboy were Suzie (first season only), the 12 year old daughter of the Ranger Lucas, and Cindy (second season only), an archeology student..."

I remember this show fondly, but now it's considered possibly the worst tv program ever.

i'm pretty sure pink lady and jeff holds that honor. imagine if bigfoot hosted the show, though, and "jeff" was forced to do standup for unamused pacific northwest hicks! sooo good.

friends of mine recently bought the 3 DVD 'best of sid and marty kroft' set, one episode of each show, and none of us remembered 'bigfoot and wildboy'. until the credits came on, and the horrible music began, and we all looked at each other in astonishment as the unwanted memories came flooding back.

bigfoot usually runs in slow motion to signify his incredible speed, but there was one scene where they must have forgot the doublespeed camera so they just had the actor playing bigfoot... jog... very... slowly...

nothing's worse than 'pryor's place' though

Is there a dark secret behind Krofft Superstars? I think it was all filmed in LA. I just wonder if there was some major coca consumption, Ruth Buzzie and all.
