Hanley Road

When I was travelling through Ohio this weekend, I saw that one of the roads was named Hanley Road. It got me thinking, wouldn't Paul Weller have produced a fantastic album if only he'd named it Hanley Road instead of Stanley Road? What other landmarks or monuments should be renamed in Hanley's honor?

i think i said elsewhere that the legendary bad-pub-experience TROY CLUB ("have a jar in barquentine's bedroom") was in hanley street: sadly for all it is HANWAY street

Yeah, but there's a Hanley Road off Stroud Green Rd.

I used to work in an staff canteen in an office on Stanley Road with a woman who was obsessed with Status Quo. We used to talk Rick Parfitt v. Francis Rossi over our toast and marmalade each morning. Stanley Road should be re-names Nothing Here Road to fox the occasional Weller tourist who makes the pilgrimage to take photos.

Can you find a better street name than Savage Gardens, off Crutched Friars, EC3?

i am tempted to deface the Hanley Road sign by the Old Dairy pub on my way home now

Hanle y Gardens should be an IL* theme park

I quite like the name Catherine Wheel Road, it's in Brentford. But Savage Gardens surely takes the buscuit...unless of course there is a My Bloody Valentine Yard.
