make sure you get a kepler switch, tesla curve generator, and a klein bottle. these are necessary.

run two RCAs from your dvd player's audio outs (red & white) to your stereo's AUX ins, and run a yellow RCA from the player's video out to your tv's video in (or use s-video cables if you have ports for them)

three years pass...

ok:
i need to connect a DJ mixer and a stereo receiver that are about 100 ft apart. i've run a length of speaker wire between them and i've got RCA connectors on the ends. i hooked them all up and.. nothing.

is this because the mixer and receiver signals are at line level and not speaker level? do i need another kind of cable? also i think i didn't correctly attach the RCA connectors. i really have no idea what i'm doing.

help please?

speaker wire? you sure that's what it is? you need to use an rca cable.
make sure the cable is of high quality and out of the way of foot traffic as long cables tend to break easily.
the mixer should be outputting line level. make sure NOT to hook up the mixer to the phono jack. Phono jacks have extra amplification.

i used 16-gauge, 2-conductor, stranded speaker wire. i couldn't find any rca cable long enough. should i have used something else?
