My mom used to uncap a cider bottle and leave it by the water heater. It ferments with wild yeast, so the results are unpredictable. If you want a little more control, buy some winemakers yeast and put a balloon on the top of the bottle. The gas will inflate the balloon and keep out foreign yeasts.

It's mildly alcoholic, sort of spritzy. Are you in prison?

erm dude, just buy what we call cider = boozy apple juice anything from 2% to 8 or 9% for the roughest scrumpy.

Talking of which, UK posters - Waitrose's own Perry (US posters this = pear cider) = 8% and only £1.20 a bottle!!!

will report back on effects

Cider = dud. Tastes less like fermented apple juice and more like Satan's fermented piss.

I don't get why people are always going on about satan's piss and semen and stuff.

I think you could just leave cider out to ferment before they started to pasturize it all. Nowadays you could still probably get the same results by adding yeast. My dad and his freinds made apple jack in college with a couple of jugs of cider with balloons attached to the mouths.

three weeks pass...
If there's fruit paste near the cap of my Odwalla smoothie does that mean it is bad?
