Relationship Question!!!

xxBefore I start I would just like to say hi to all you ilx peep's :-) Hope you are all well.

kk. My question here is when exactly do you say a relationship is unfortunately, or maybe in some cases fortunately?, 'over'? How do you know? I've been fortunate enough to have been with my first real love and bf for a good long while now so I really wouldn't know. Does there come a point where you are just with each other for the sake of "being with someone"? How do you distinguish whether you are going through a temporary bad phase or that it is in fact over. Plain and simple. It just must be difficult, that's all. Do you have to admit to yourself it is over first of all? i.e. you must at first have to accept it is over before pushing yourself to do something about it. Does all the good stuff stop or stop happening as often i.e. the caressing, the love, the kisses and cuddles, the holding hands and the wanting to be together?

There aren't rules for this - but there is one good universal guiding principle, and that is that's it's worth trying some honest, open conversations about what is making you unhappy, what you think isn't working, all that, before making any decisions.
