Or, more likely, has anybody else seen, or even just heard of, this film? My mate Dan has been wittering on about if for months, and finalyl over the weekend his girlfriend got back from Taiwan with a bootleg Video CD of it... and... ASTOUNDING. I've just watched half an hour or so, and I've never seen anything like it in my life; it's a sci-fi martial arts film done with Taiwanese hand puppets and CGI. And, as you can imagine, fucking nuts. Mad as a brush. Insania. Think the puppets from Being John Malkovich acting out scenes from Iron Monkey and Battle Royale. On the moon. I don't think it's ever had a proper release over here, which although understandable because its audience would obviously be quite small and specialised, is a shame because it's ludicrous fun. Anyone seen or heard of it?

Those events left him with no desire for political power, so he went into hiding in search of something more pure. He is now obsessed with spiritual purity and has a fervent desire for justice. His fault is that he often acts without thinking and can be easily angered when his sense of justice is offended. Ao Hsiao Hong-chen's ability with the sword is without peer.
