Winning Eleven 7 (Pro Evo 3) help needed!

Despite playing better than I ever have before I'm not able to do anything in the Master League (5* difficulty). The real trouble is getting a handle on the transfers and whatnot.

Can anyone explain to me how to approach accquiring decent players without breaking the bank? Is it possible to pick up players in the first round of negotiations without paying a transfer fee?

My main problem is lack of firepower up front. I have no problem getting the ball forward but then the final push across the goaline is damn near impossible.

Nah I think you need to just stick it out, I've yet to try 5 difficulty, I imagine it's bloody impossible, since 3 was hard enough to score freely on for me, for a while, with the rubbish players you get at the start.

I guess try and win a few games and buy someone very cheap but effective. Trying to think of the right players. Do you start with any money, I forget.

"push across the goaline"? is this pro evo rugby??

you do start with some money, i can't remember how much. but unless you can find players that don't require a transfer fee, you end up broke and game over pretty quick.

sorry for any confusion carsmile, it's pro evo football.

You could sign some players off whatever team you start with, would they be on free transfer or cheaper maybe?

This is just a theory on my part, I've usually managed to muddle through with Castolo and Espinas etc, but that's on lower levels.

i'm not sure actually, i'll have to look into that. when you're looking at the players that are available is there a way to tell how long their current contract is?

i always thought there was a pool of guys that were available without transfer fees but now i'm thinking i'm wrong about that.

you're right about castolo and espinas but after that it's slim pickings. and if one of those two goes down to injury then you're up the creek. i'd just like to be able to pick up one quality striker or omf and not have it cost me an arm and a leg.

i haven't been able to try it out yet but this sounds like the answer. the first players you sign are those that belong to the team you've selected to play with. for example, if you begin a new master league season and you decide on arsenal as your team, then the first players you should be able to sign on the cheap are those that actually play for arsenal.

this is what someone on the konami boards said anyways.
