best stadium for music concerts

inspired by (a) this thread --> HELLO WEMBLEY!!! and (b) the fact that the vet (where i saw u2 god knows how many years ago) was just imploded this sunday.

i've only seen concerts in three stadiums -- the above-mentioned (and now gone) veterans stadium, giants stadium, and jfk stadium (which is also gone i think). my vote goes to jfk stadium b/c (a) there were no fences so EVERYONE got onto the field; and (b) there's not much (if any) difference b/w the vet and giants' stadium anyway.

Reunion Arena was always too loud and the sound was generally terrible. I haven't seen anything at the new American Airlines Center yet.

no -- it was at jfk. didn't go (parents wouldn't let me!) had to watch it on TV, like everyone else :-(

btw I've never seen a concert in an outdoor stadium. Saw Steely Dan in an ampitheater (Riverbend) and Bruce Springsteen in an arena (United Center), tho.
