I bet being an imaginary girlfriend is really hilarious and fun. I would do it if it wasn't so creepy.

kirsten (kirsten), Tuesday, 23 March 2004 20:54 (twenty-two years ago)

This is genius. I want an imaginary stalker. To look cool.

Jordan (Jordan), Tuesday, 23 March 2004 20:57 (twenty-two years ago)

Or maybe I'll have an imaginary affair, just to shake things up a bit.

Jordan (Jordan), Tuesday, 23 March 2004 20:58 (twenty-two years ago)

If they did this with pets, I would sign up.

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Tuesday, 23 March 2004 20:59 (twenty-two years ago)

Adam, I'll sell you an imaginary pet. But you have to remember to imaginary feed it or it'll turn on you.

lawrence kansas (lawrence kansas), Tuesday, 23 March 2004 21:04 (twenty-two years ago)

lawrence kansas, I'm your biggest fan

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Tuesday, 23 March 2004 21:05 (twenty-two years ago)

the ad agency that I used to work for wanted to have a giant screen in their reception area with a huge virtual pet on it. Everyone who worked there had cellphones and they were going to be "enabled" so that people could feed, play, and care for the pet as they walked past the screen. It was supposed to be some kind of lesson in communal responsibility. But their "budget" didn't quite stretch to that, so they got a couple of breakdancers and an opera singer in instead.

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Tuesday, 23 March 2004 21:07 (twenty-two years ago)

i bet it was tough keeping the opera singer fed

lawrence kansas (lawrence kansas), Tuesday, 23 March 2004 21:13 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeah. They should have hired a dancer instead.

Prude (Prude), Tuesday, 23 March 2004 21:15 (twenty-two years ago)

They also got a parrot but it had to be moved after complaints from the receptionists. They said we could go and visit it at its new home, but I could never get the address,

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Tuesday, 23 March 2004 21:17 (twenty-two years ago)

Then I quit.

@d@ml (nordicskilla), Tuesday, 23 March 2004 21:17 (twenty-two years ago)

I hear the ex-Atomic Kitten members are going cheap (and that's just their food budget)

Barima (Barima), Tuesday, 23 March 2004 21:19 (twenty-two years ago)

jim wentworth (wench), Wednesday, 24 March 2004 04:12 (twenty-two years ago)

@d@ml did you work for Bloomberg? I hear he does all kinds of random stuff like that in his offices, usually involving tropical fish.

Dave M. (rotten03), Wednesday, 24 March 2004 05:28 (twenty-two years ago)

FWIW, you can buy these on eBay too. Truly horrid.
