If you will.

Mr Valenti said the climbing film budgets were like "the cost tapeworm wiggling so energetically in film production, nibbling, chewing, eating the fiscal molecules of the business".

I want to hurt this man. For linguistic reasons.

Oh, and this is just as bad:

He urged film producers to keep budgets tight, and said keeping costs down was "a fervid priority".

he's such a piece of shit.

Mr Valenti, 82, speaking at an industry conference in Las Vegas, also confirmed that he would retire from the association after 38 years as president.

He said he believed the MPAA may find a new dictator-for-life president in the next two or three months.

"I look at this with mixed emotions because when you've done something so long, it's difficult to tear yourself away from it," Mr Valenti said.

haha "fervid priority" reminds me of that autodidact character from "in living color" just using every ten cent word he knows, in no particular order

His comments are so stupid for so many reasons that it almost/probably isn't worth commenting on. The obvious filmic analogy is "Amadeus." paraphrased..."too many notes? Well then, which ones should I cut out?" Which part of a $100 million budget fronted by willing producers should be eliminated? Stupid, stupid.

Valenti is, and always has been, a fucking evil son of a bitch. I'm glad to see the bastard step down. But you know someone just as worse is going to take his place.
