RFI - BBQ outside in London

Is it possible to have an outside BBQ for me and some chums in London during the summer either in the city parks or designated food areas - are there any special areas where this can occur or is it strictly forbidden??

If anyone can point me in the right direction then that would be great as this info is very much required
