Heh. I've just noticed the bag with the half a six pack of ciders in the corner of my pic. How uhh.. appropriate.

Trayce (trayce), Thursday, 25 March 2004 23:24 (twenty-two years ago)

ha, my passport photo has me with headphones on. Quite useful really, as I have them on so much, but a few people have been amused at my forgetting to remove them for the pic.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Thursday, 25 March 2004 23:26 (twenty-two years ago)

Markelby (Mark C), Monday, 3 May 2004 13:58 (twenty-one years ago)

Where are you from?? (If I don't respond it's because my LCD screen has melted down again, I've been having this problem with it lately where it looks like a pinkish-black fungus is eating the pixels away.) I was just there over Christmas and ran into an old flame who's working at McKay's books! Do you know what I'm talking about??

x-post: Yeah Mark, I know. I'm trying to cover it up with a hat.

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Monday, 3 May 2004 13:58 (twenty-one years ago)

roxy that's just nuts. I grew up on Foster Lane, about a mile from Mount Olive elementary school. My friend at McKay's is C4rl4 Schm1dt. She went to Karns. I don't know how long ago you worked there, but my friend Cl41r3 J4ntz worked there for awhile. I went to Doyle High for a year and then Bearden (no we didn't move West!! I convinced the school board that I was such a smarty pants that I deserved to go to a high school with more AP classes) The best friend I have who still lives in K-town is Ant1gon3 P4nt4nizopoulos, she goes to UT Vet school. Tell me stories! Tell me about the Candy Factory!!

Do you remember... PLANET EARTH??

roxy that's just nuts. I grew up on Foster Lane, about a mile from Mount Olive elementary school. My friend at McKay's is C4rl4 Schm1dt. She went to Karns. I don't know how long ago you worked there, but my friend Cl41re J4ntz worked there for awhile.

This is all very, very small world and creepy.

I just bought a house on Foster Lane, off Maryville Pike (the big one on the top of the hill) that I have lived in for about four years. If you know any interesting stories/history about the street itself and irs former residents, I would be absolutely thrilled to hear.

One of the guys who lives with me was dating C4rl4 Schm1dt earlier this year, and she's a friend of mine as well (very good, old friends with my best girlfriend Sonya)!

I worked at McKay's from around 1997-1998, and not for very long, but know some of the people who work there through my sister Kelly who has worked there for some years.

What do you want to know about the Candy Factory? My band played at an art reception thing there three days ago, and my great grandparents met there (when it was actually a candy factory -- he would look down her shirt while she covered cherries [hot!]).

So strange! What a small ILX it really is.

roxymuzak (roxymuzak), Monday, 3 May 2004 16:36 (twenty-one years ago)

tracer knows people everywhere, even in his hometown.

RJG (RJG), Monday, 3 May 2004 16:38 (twenty-one years ago)

You were neighbors with the G4v3ntas, yes?

roxymuzak (roxymuzak), Monday, 3 May 2004 16:39 (twenty-one years ago)

WHAT????

My parents live in the house halfway up!!!!!!!

WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK.

How long have you been there??? There have been some people staying there for a few years... are you part of that crew or not?

I bet you've been talking to T0dd Sh3lt0n!!!! You know that he's my best and oldest friend's dad?! And that I'm seeing the G4v3nt4s in BRIGHTON next week, which is where they live now??

Dude that house you're moving into used to belong to the Foster for whom Foster Lane is named! You are entering a very very cool place!! Todd and Polly are both solid folks, and they've known my parents for years. It was because they lived there that my folks moved there in the first place. (We used to live in Blount County.) The people on the hill opposite the Lane from you are the "Fryx3lls," but it's just the sons who live there now, with their irritating dogs. I think the parents - Jerry and Jackie - live in Hong Kong now or something.

The field with trees ("the Orchard") in it belongs to my folks, but everybody on the Lane can use it if you want! roxy you have to introduce yourself to my parents!! Jesus Christ this is odd! I'm sending you an email right now!

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Monday, 3 May 2004 17:08 (twenty-one years ago)

post relating to the HOUSE YOU JUST BOUGHT:

How did you make money when you were a kid?
