Well-armed multi-national force goes to forgotten land that has an important power source>finds the native population, once strong with a rich culture, are dying>multi-national force splits up as ulterior motive for mission is revealed and mass murder of native population becomes a by-product of the mission to secure the power source.

My question is how will the current conflict affect the next James Bond film as people are always drawing [often simplistic] analogies between fiction and 'the real world'
