Gah. I saw As If for the first time this morning. I only counted three colours, and one of those was natural. I want my money back.

I watched As If today - really impressive. Good script, good acting, superb editing.

donut bitch (donut), Saturday, 3 April 2004 17:24 (twenty-one years ago)

Why are British Teen Soap Operas so much superior to American Teen Soap Operas?

Better plotlines, better actors and none of that irritating fantasy super-affluence that makes me want to throw promdresses at the screen...

Super-Kate (kate), Sunday, 4 April 2004 08:57 (twenty-one years ago)

Uh, if you're just talking about the phrase, surely it's older than 1994? It wasn't coined in Reality Bites, was it??

jaymc (jaymc), Sunday, 4 April 2004 09:00 (twenty-one years ago)

Well Ive certainly heard it be used since I was in high school and that was in the 80's, so...

Trayce (trayce), Sunday, 4 April 2004 10:01 (twenty-one years ago)

Are we talking about the phrase 'Reality Bites' or 'As if'? If the latter, then my dad used to annoy his parents by saying it as a kid in the 40s and 50s.
