Hey, honestly, that exact thing just happened to me. I guess it is not that weird. But I took a photo to commemorate the moment and it looks like I am smearing popcorn over my face. It was just supposed to look like I was eating a lot.

I ate an entire bag of popcorn while watching the grand prix earlier this evening.

i was waiting for the bus home last night and the bus stop happened to be by a KFC which had a sign saying POPCORN CHICKEN. There was no picture. I am not sure what it meant. The 2 things do not normally go together, I would have thought.

MarkH (MarkH), Sunday, 4 April 2004 15:10 (twenty-one years ago)

I am sure the chickenbear would be interested tho.

MarkH (MarkH), Sunday, 4 April 2004 15:10 (twenty-one years ago)

popcorn chicken is little popcorn-sized bits of fried chicken.

more fat for your buck.

I love popcorn! I always eat more than I should. Kettle corn is really good too!

Aja (aja), Sunday, 4 April 2004 15:12 (twenty-one years ago)

one year passes...
I'm always trying to make my mouth opening bigger so as to cram in bigger fistfuls of popcorn. Mmm.. I'm having some now at my desk. It's the perfect afternoon snack.

Popcorn is among the most effective snack/missile-weapon hybridizations in the history of man!

nickalicious (nickalicious), Wednesday, 27 April 2005 18:37 (twenty years ago)

Inexplicable: we have free microwave popcorn in the office, yet I've never had any.

Jordan (Jordan), Wednesday, 27 April 2005 18:39 (twenty years ago)

This thread was made for me! I love popcorn!!
I'm really hooked on this tiny popcorn (http://www.kandkpopcorn.com/story.html) . . . it's more delicious than any popcorn. I make all mine on the stove . . . i'm sure it's fattier than air popped, but healthier than microwaved kinds.

kelsey (kelstarry), Wednesday, 27 April 2005 18:42 (twenty years ago)

haha yeah i thought you started this one, k.

jaymc (jaymc), Wednesday, 27 April 2005 18:43 (twenty years ago)

Every year I go to the state fair I end up getting these like 20 bajillion gallon bags of kettle corn that look like they'll last me years and years, and then it's all gone 2 LoTR movies later.

nickalicious (nickalicious), Wednesday, 27 April 2005 18:47 (twenty years ago)

And yes, I do realize that "years and years" = "2 LoTR movies later".

nickalicious (nickalicious), Wednesday, 27 April 2005 18:47 (twenty years ago)

that shit shreds your intestines and has no nutritional value. Enjoy!

Shakey Mo Collier, Wednesday, 27 April 2005 18:49 (twenty years ago)

jaymc: i thought i might have started it too!! haha!

kelsey (kelstarry), Wednesday, 27 April 2005 18:49 (twenty years ago)

it has fiber & carbohydrates (for those who aren't atkins crazed).

kelsey (kelstarry), Wednesday, 27 April 2005 18:51 (twenty years ago)

Stove top popcorn cooking is the only way to fly. You people with your microwaves and air poppers are to be shunned.

laurence kansas (lawrence kansas), Wednesday, 27 April 2005 18:51 (twenty years ago)

Aw, I like my bags of microwave popcorn. Or 1/2 bags, really. Usually when I pop a bag of popcorn, there's enough to share with Mom, and we usually give a generous portion to our "baby puppy". I have had stovetop, though; though the last time I had any was about fifteen years ago. I remember it being really good.

Aw man, nickalicious is reminding me of how I *need* to try out kettle corn sometime soon. I saw on TV once how it was made and it looked really good.
