hey i am a little drunk. i work somewhere that serves alcohol. i got off early tonight. i had a couple of beers, and then the person i was drinking with (suddenly a good friend even though i met him yesterday while he was painting chairs for the outdoor patio) instructs the bartender to make us a shot, so we all do a shot of patron, and then we head across the street and, well, wouldnt you know it, the painter knows the bartender and the cooks at this place, so we do another shot, and then head into the kitchen where my drinking buddy instructs the cook to make us something special. while we are waiting, we get beers and then when we finish, the food is ready and we get more beers. then i went to meet tombot for another beer.

total damage: 6 beers, two shots
total damage: $8

anyways, i have forgotten all of my miseries for the time being. i guess the drugs do work!

yes, I'm slightly drunk (weirdly, considering I haven't drunk all that much) and I think tiredness is aug,enting my general stupor. I have had a simply wonderful day - went up to London and met a wonderful friend...we went to a restaurant called Sequel at the Angel islington for pizza. For reasons I won't go into she had to rucsh off, so I got a bus back to Oxford and went to a gig at the Wheatsheaf pub where i met my former colleague Jessica and lots of other lovely ppl.
