Glasgow as far as i can tell has at least TWO rhyming phrases to describe the condition among certain young man of being unwilling to 'sink the pink', as it were, due to fear: 'shy of the pie' and (my favourite) 'Scared of the baird'. is there any other culture ANYWHERE that has a similar phrase?

no, U see Vagina Dentata (incidentally the subject of a great Primary 7 joke: what do U call a fanny with teeth? A vicious cunt) is a bit more of a grand fear this is more someone who's scared of sex. and fannies.

Fear of vaginas is great, and it's growing. Men have worked out that the female fanny hole is used for sucking life essences from any unwitting man foolish enough to stick his dong in there. This redoubles the power and strength of the female host. Noticed how women seem to be everywhere lately, doing all the things men used to do? Word. Don't fall prey to this trap.

I have never heard of any expressions for this. It seems a remarkably taboo thing for slang to cover (assuming it's used by men).

aye. its not that taboo a thing 4 slang 2 cover, at least a my school. I should add though that at my school the most attractive part of a lady was widely considered to be the (ahem!) fanny bulge.
