how many songs can be kept on a 40G iPod?

Mine has 12,405 "songs" on it -- about 39 and a half days worth of music (or spoken word stuff). And yes, I am starting to think it's not big enough.

Chris, that's why I havn't bought an iPod, and bought a MP3 CD player instead. If I had a 100GB iPod, it would still be too small. 700mb, however, is just right.
