Nude Fondling vs Clothed Fondling

Clothed: In a tactile sense, far more interesting, topography in motion. Texturally kaleidoscopic, giving your mind endless reeling visual imputations from the thinly buffered micro-mazes being clumsily touch-scanned by lucky you. Pressure variation yields far more jarring results than nude fondling. It's the best time to ensure there is no gun, knife, or penis.

Nude: It feels pretty much how you imagined but more pimpin.

It's hard to choose. you?

LC, Tuesday, 6 April 2004 14:25 (twenty-one years ago)

Neither's that hot, I should give up on sex and life and stuff

Mr Mime (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 6 April 2004 14:28 (twenty-one years ago)

Clothed fondling leading to nude fondling = good
Nude fondling leading to clothed fondling = bad

winterland, Tuesday, 6 April 2004 14:28 (twenty-one years ago)

fondling through underwear: very classic.

strongo hulkington (dubplatestyle), Tuesday, 6 April 2004 14:29 (twenty-one years ago)

WTF, nude fondlin' is way better, clothes take away the beautiful sensation of having your skin touched by someone else's skin.

(And I'm not necessarily talking about sex here.)

Tuomas (Tuomas), Tuesday, 6 April 2004 14:29 (twenty-one years ago)

Fondling through underwear leading to fondling through armour = bad sign.

winterland, Tuesday, 6 April 2004 14:30 (twenty-one years ago)

clothed fondling can be pretty disconcerting in an omg-how-did-i-fall-into-this-wormhole-and-end-up-back-in-8th-grade kind of way though

strongo hulkington (dubplatestyle), Tuesday, 6 April 2004 14:31 (twenty-one years ago)

Male genitalia feel great clothed tho, tends to diffues too much nude

Mr Mime (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 6 April 2004 14:34 (twenty-one years ago)

Your eighth grade must have been tons more interesting than mine, strongo.

Curt1s St3ph3ns, Tuesday, 6 April 2004 14:34 (twenty-one years ago)

LC, Tuesday, 6 April 2004 14:36 (twenty-one years ago)

I played footsie w/some chick that ended up a model, dunno what "grade" it was, I was 11. Hey I meant "diffuse", chill

Mr Mime (Andrew Thames), Tuesday, 6 April 2004 14:36 (twenty-one years ago)

You're all correct but it's important to note that I meant the two fondling disciplines happening in the desired traditional succession and not to be thought of an independent from each other. I didn't mean to imply Tuomas that clothed was in any way better but more texturally unpredictable and interesting, wide-eyed and investigative. Nude fondling is maximum radical but quite uniform texturally and has a lot to do with HEFT - lust for fatless petite chicks is like cellphone appreciation: light, tight, and "solid" feeling; lust for fleshy chicks is more of a full sensory immersion thing (I usually prefer this and I get more emotional this way). I like rap music.

Does anyone want to start a Belle Du Jour rival blog with me? I think we could do better than that.

LC, Tuesday, 6 April 2004 15:16 (twenty-one years ago)

I agree, but you'll have to remember that the sensation of "textural unpredictability" only applies to the fondler, not to the fondlée. For the fondlée, clothed fondling is far less sensuous than nude fondling. It's a two-way thing.

Tuomas (Tuomas), Tuesday, 6 April 2004 15:50 (twenty-one years ago)

lol I tend to forget about that.

LC, Tuesday, 6 April 2004 15:52 (twenty-one years ago)

Of course, if both participants get their kicks out of textural unpredictability and being investigative, then it's an even deal.

I, by the way like semi-clothed fondling: having some or most of one's clothes on, but slipping one's hand underneath them every now and then.

Tuomas (Tuomas), Tuesday, 6 April 2004 15:58 (twenty-one years ago)

" topography in motion."

I think I need to enroll in English poetry because I don't get what the hell you're on about. I prefer both but only with my boyfriend. Fondling done by stranger: def dud-oh.

I prefer both but only with my boyfriend. Fondling done by stranger: def dud-oh.

I think these aren't the only options available. Also, fondling need not to be sexual, in my opinion, though most of the folks on this thread seem to think so.

I agree, but you needn't have put it so crudely. The hidden mystery, the expectation of your fondler's touch, the uncertainty when it's going to happen, the satisfaction when it does, it's all too much describe with words.

This thread was inspired by thinking about the micro-skeletal nature of fancy structured underwear, it's rather hype. Groping a bodice is like biting into a salmon filet upside down.

LC, Wednesday, 7 April 2004 02:27 (twenty-one years ago)

The really intricate interlacing-pattern type, I mean. Call me out but I think vinyl and leather is for butterfingered idiots.

I find clothes sexy. I find taking clothes off hot. I find having clothes taken off hot. I find being in various states of unclothedness hot. then finally you have to get it all off. So my answer is yes, fondling is good.

jim wentworth (wench), Wednesday, 7 April 2004 04:36 (twenty-one years ago)

In what context can fondling not be sexual?

When it's done between friends, just for the sheer fun of it, nothing sexual implied.

Tuomas (Tuomas), Wednesday, 7 April 2004 05:17 (twenty-one years ago)

Not to be indifferent, but that would be a let down to me, anyhow. Why just stop there? Kind of like walking past a restaurant and getting a good whiff of what others are enjoying. Admittedly, there are times when I might not have the appetite, and maybe that's your point. To that I can relate.

jim wentworth (wench), Wednesday, 7 April 2004 05:29 (twenty-one years ago)

Um, I think fondling has a perfect right to exist as itself, not merely as foreplay. Besides, I don't want to have sex with my friends.

Tuomas (Tuomas), Wednesday, 7 April 2004 06:45 (twenty-one years ago)

Frottaging Bamber Gascoine's a heavy price to pay.

winterland, Wednesday, 7 April 2004 14:04 (twenty-one years ago)

Paxman! She's not that old!

I can't remember the question exactly. Was it about brass rubbings or something?

Madchen (Madchen), Wednesday, 7 April 2004 14:07 (twenty-one years ago)

Apologies...I just had a vision of Bamber's glasses steaming up. Yes, frottaging is used (somewhat confusingly) for brass rubbing too.

"Is there a brass round here...I want to frottage"...could be miscontrued.

winterland, Wednesday, 7 April 2004 14:09 (twenty-one years ago)

Caressing is much less sexual, Tuomas

Well, maybe we should change the thread to "Nude Caressing vs. Clothed Caressing". Any thoughts?

Tuomas (Tuomas), Wednesday, 7 April 2004 14:26 (twenty-one years ago)

Surely that's up to LC? It seems that he was actually interested in the difference in sexual sensation between the two.

VengaDan Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 7 April 2004 14:30 (twenty-one years ago)

Yes, it's just me being a prune.

Madchen (Madchen), Wednesday, 7 April 2004 14:31 (twenty-one years ago)

Thanks Perry, I would not like the thread title changed.

There was this great Ferrero Rocher analogy I had when I woke up but I just lost it. You guys try (but it has to be about Ferrero Rocher).

LC, Wednesday, 7 April 2004 14:44 (twenty-one years ago)

A thread is like a piece of art: once you let it out for the world to see, it stops being your property, and you lose control of it. Sorry.

I'm still interested: do you think fondling/caressing cannot be non-sexual, with adults?

Tuomas (Tuomas), Wednesday, 7 April 2004 14:49 (twenty-one years ago)

Try it on my girlfriend and you'll find out my personal views.

Markelby (Mark C), Wednesday, 7 April 2004 14:50 (twenty-one years ago)

Is this like having non-sexual naked saunas with your friends of the opposite sex, Tuomas?

Jordan (Jordan), Wednesday, 7 April 2004 14:51 (twenty-one years ago)

Tuomas, I sort of envy your attitude to sex and nudity, but then again it seems so free and untroubled I can barely believe you can find it interesting any more.

Markelby (Mark C), Wednesday, 7 April 2004 14:52 (twenty-one years ago)

what's all this about fondue and fromage?

stockholm cindy (Jody Beth Rosen), Wednesday, 7 April 2004 14:53 (twenty-one years ago)

It's a different thing. Saunas are definitely non-sexual, but I don't think the majority of Finns would agree that physical intimacy can be non-sexual, even between friends. It's just my view. I guess I have a bunch of weird hippie friends.

Tuomas (Tuomas), Wednesday, 7 April 2004 14:55 (twenty-one years ago)

(X-post, I was talking to Jordan.)

Tuomas (Tuomas), Wednesday, 7 April 2004 14:56 (twenty-one years ago)

Try it on my girlfriend and you'll find out my personal views.

In case you're having trouble spotting subtleties within the English language again, Tuomas, this means "Don't try it".

N. (nickdastoor), Wednesday, 7 April 2004 14:59 (twenty-one years ago)

Tuomas I meant that you can call the thread what you want but you can't get a mod to change it or something. And no, for me it's always sexual because I get hard. I can't sublimate things and section my mind off to make it non-sexual and not many people I know can, so in my world it's not feasable. I wouldn't mind hanging out with your friends though.

LC, Wednesday, 7 April 2004 15:01 (twenty-one years ago)

While I think that's a harsh way to put it, I do think that such 'friendly intimacies' can take on very different connotations depending on whether the participants are in monogamous relationships or not.

(re: Nick & Markelby's posts)

Jordan (Jordan), Wednesday, 7 April 2004 15:02 (twenty-one years ago)

I got what he meant, it was unsubtle enough.

Tuomas, I sort of envy your attitude to sex and nudity, but then again it seems so free and untroubled I can barely believe you can find it interesting any more.

Again, I'm not talking about sex. Saunas and fondling are interesting for other reasons than sexual.

Tuomas (Tuomas), Wednesday, 7 April 2004 15:04 (twenty-one years ago)

While I think that's a harsh way to put it, I do think that such 'friendly intimacies' can take on very different connotations depending on whether the participants are in monogamous relationships or not.

I know, but doesn't it depend on their partners as well?

Tuomas (Tuomas), Wednesday, 7 April 2004 15:06 (twenty-one years ago)

I was only using it as an opportunity to say "Don't try it".

I think the most jealous I've ever been was when I saw a guy rubbing a girl I fancied legs at a party. I left and she slept with him.

When it's done between friends, just for the sheer fun of it, nothing sexual implied.

I still have trouble understanding what the nature of this 'fun' would be though, if not erotic on some level. It's not necessarily a precursor to intercourse but it still seems to me that the reason why it's fun is because there is some sort of sexual arousal. Like, if it's non-sexual, is it OK to fondle close family members? Would you fondle a friend towards whom you had no attraction at all (like another guy if you're straight)?

sundar subramanian (sundar), Thursday, 8 April 2004 04:06 (twenty-one years ago)

Yes, and I have. I think not all touching is sexual in nature, even if it's for pleasure. As I said, even small children love to be tickled; I think the sensation of touching and caressing can be pleasurable in an erotic or non-erotic way, depending on the situation and the nature of caressing. Do you disagree?

Tuomas (Tuomas), Thursday, 8 April 2004 07:26 (twenty-one years ago)

I would argue that tickling and fondling are not analogous, much like massaging and fondling are not analogous. The word "fondle" has innate sexual connotations; "non-sexual fondling" is something of an oxymoron.

VengaDan Perry (Dan Perry), Thursday, 8 April 2004 11:25 (twenty-one years ago)

Something like that happened (to) me (there) years ago. It was October 1991, in fact. But they were kissing, not just (just?) rubbing, come to think of it. I found their behaviour so queer and depressing.

Have I ever recovered? Yes, but not for long.

sundar subramanian (sundar), Friday, 9 April 2004 05:18 (twenty-one years ago)

i think u guys are all sick fucks, and none of you have bigger balls then me, my balls are so astronamically huge that it would take everyones mother and father who posted, just to go around one teste. if everyone in the USA had as big of balls as i do, we would live in a fucked up enviroment, girls would be getting an uber dosage of protein, and there would be a great population boom, which will lead to a devastating depression, and we would have to restart economy as we know it!

Indie girls have a fondness for man-made fibres ("I just bought a nylon dress from the Sue Ryder shop! I could be in the audience to Ready Steady Go, 1966!"). Fondling through clothes lacks some sensuality, but the problems start if the fondling gets a little excitable and you speed up or exaggerate your, uh, 'caresses'. Friction burns are not uncommon, nor is constant static electricity. I have only dated HM chicks in recent years. I find leather easier on the battle-worn hands these days.
