How can I lighten my dark black hair to medium brown?

I dyed my hair colorsilk 2n brown-black and it is jet black. How can I lighten it, so it won't be jet black, but medium brown?

Apparently Google knows from what country you're from (how?), because when I type www.google.com it directs me straight to www.google.fi. I can't get the English-language Google even if I wanted to.
