are you ready for this?

this goes great with 2 Unlimited's "Get Ready For This" which is what I thought this thread was going to be about.

I worked in a sub shop the summer this was in the radio. I wanted to drown myself in "secret" sauce (it's italian salad dressing, fuckface.)

Sub shop employees are either the unhappiest or the most insane.

I got fired. It's the only time I've ever been fired. I was basically trying to start a revulotion. At 23, I was the oldest employee other than the manager, and my 17 yr-old supervisor had it in for me. So I started citing labour code to the 16 yr old kids and uh, I got fired. Which was okay, because, I kinda got the job because I was desperate to find a quick, mindless job for the summer, and I stopped by the place on my way home from exams and saw the help wanted sign and was hired on the spot (I had experience in the kitchens of REAL restaurants, like, good, fine ones).

You ran afoul of the high-school hivemind?
