I think Steve Davis (English snooker player) has a personalised number plate. He also persuaded French prog rock band Magma to go on tour again. Eric Hall (English sports agent, catchphrase "Monsta, monsta")and David Hasselhoff must have a personalised number plates too.

I bet Mariah Carey has personalised license plates that say "HOTTIE". Ugh, I hate her. I just saw her new video and I'm quite irritated.

Oh I reckon Billy Corgan would have one for sure, something like "Zero", Lil'Kim would have "bling bling", and I'm sure David and Victoria Beckham would have "posh"...

Jimmy Tarbuck - the almost illegally unfunny, old, British 'comedian' - has 'COM1C' on his Rolls Royce No.plate. 'CUN7' may have been more apt. (well, it almost works)

In or about 1986, Bruno Brookes would have had "BRUN0", and Gary Davies would have had "MEDALL10N MAN".

Other question here is, have you ever seen a personalised plate where you thought "Cool"? I've only seen one, eight years back, said "90210". (That wouldn't be cool now, tho', it'd just be "Uh, dated!") Still hoping to see "Natas" through the rear-view, but no luck yet.

I always thought it was way cool that Kramer's license plate on that one episode of Seinfeld said "ASSMAN".

Rhode Island has the largest per-capita number of personalized license plates of any state in the US. Low numbers are where it's at - if you've got the "8" license plate, you literally hand it down over the generations. In my college daze, hiking up to the capitol building to my job as state congressional camera operator (true), I passed a Lincoln Continental parked right in front of main entrance. The license plate said "1". It was the governor. Suck breath in... "cool...."

Quite interesting that S1NGH is one of the most expensive plates ever. I was just looking the other day and with the new location-based plates you can have BA57ARD for £500 off the DVLA, if anyone's getting a new car. I just thought it was a funny word to have.

I once saw MU51C on a dirty great aston Martin on the motorway one time. we tried to catch it to see if it was someone famous (had to be really didn't it) but we were in an escort estate full of compressed air cylinders, not a vehicle to catch up with a vantage really.
