A topless barbers is opening in Paisley on wednesday. It's called 'A Bit off the Top' and Paisley women are OUTRAGED. Now Paisley is far from the talent capital of the West of Scotland and I have a very ugly picture in my head of the staff in such an establishment. Hard faced lassies off the dole no doubt, chopping your hair in tracksuit bottoms and Fila trousers. It's probably been made into a topless joint so that the girls can have a baby hanging off each boob as they work.

RP, they'll probably still sign on.

Strippers, who are also trained hairdressers, have been recruited from a lap-dancing club in Glasgow to work at A Bit Off The Top.

(from the local paper)

that's a relief - for a moment there I was worring about the quality of the haircut...

B-but, surely lap-dancing must pay a lot more?

They'll charge £40 for a blow dry.

Better a cross trained hairdresser than a cross dressed stripper. They must be good at both though. It won't be long until they get fed up with wee boys coming in for a peek though.

Will they still be required to begin every conversation with 'not working today then?' and chat about the weather and last night's TV??

Goinnywhere nice thisshear?

It's just like going to a normal hairdresser except there are boobs. If my wee pumpkin wants a hairsut in the near future I'll be doing it myself. No boobs for him, no siree.

24hrsleeper = opposite of 24hr party people?

Bob Six (bobbysix), Monday, 12 April 2004 09:56 (twenty-one years ago)

Is there also a 24hr echobelly?

Sadly my days of sleeping for 24 hours at a time have been curtailed by the need to work. One day I'll go back to wasting my life in this most enjoyable way.
