If I knew what you spoke of, DG, I might answer. ;-)

Right, 'The Big Question' is this absolutely hilarious supposedly faith based teen programme, where they get a bunch of 15 year olds in a studio and get them to debate issues that confound even the greatest of human BRANES.

Another Channel 5 winner was "It's Your Funeral". this was a show that you had to see to believe. it was just a 30 minute interview by the leader of the "loose women" gals with a vague celebrity type, about the way they would like their funeral to be arranged. Sunday morning, natch.

obviously the title was just the working title in development, but they forgot to come up with a better one.

I think this prog and "Touch the Truck" are the reason tvgohome has pretty much finished now.

We watched THE MOLE the whole way through yesterday. It was immensely painful. I realised I was watching a bunch of NONCES standing underneath a partially charged battery waiting to catch a ball, after having to protect a bowl of unset lime jelly from some commandoes with green paint. Channel 5 makes a mang mean.

completely off topic now: what does "nonce" mean to you? (you in the third person, not just you Sarah)

I hear it used like this, sort of somewhere between ponce and twat, but it's more usually slang for paedophile, no?

Thunderbirds is classic.

I recently saw a Lady Penelope activity book, very cool, but I suspect that 5-7 year olds wouldn't know who penny is.

A ponce but a bit more THICK and DUMB. That is what I would call a NONCE. At least I think so. Not a ponce in the "perfumed ponce" sense of the word, just someone who is wet and weedy and all round rubbidge.

Buffy and Angel
