I don't have a TV. My last roommate did but w/o cable so we just used it to watch movies. At my apartment before that I didn't have one either.

Peanuts is less funny than dish soap. I don't think I ever truly believed that real people actually like it.

I wish we didn't have a TV. My mother, who used to never turn it on except during hockey playoffs, now spends hours every day running around or sitting with her eyes on the set listening to the news about anthrax and Afghanistan in case something happens that she doesn't hear about until half an hour later. When she is not doing so, my brothers are playing Nintendo and they insist that they cannot enjoy it unless the stupid repetitive tinkling repetitive music is up high and I am not playing any songs on the computer to distract them. They are louder than me so they get their way. The hour and a half of Saturday Night Live I watch is little compensation because I'm usually on the Internet and not watching it anyway. Ethan, you can have mine. Please, please, PLEASE take it.

My rabbit ears antenna gets in one channel (NBC) flawlessly, and perhaps coincedently, it's the station I most want to watch. Now I hear that the Bay Area station has lost their contract with NBC, and NBC will be broadcasting on channel 11 out of San Jose. I don't recieve channel 11 at all. It's just static. Fuck.
