It provokes emotions that really ought not to be provoked for the sake of entertainment. So, dud.

I had a plan recently where I would fill the audience with people I know or were friends of the people I know. They would be all told to react when I said a certain phrase. Also all the other contestants woul be people I knew. I would fail miserably at the game, and when she said, Goodbye, you're shit at this, etc, I would run over at her, knock her over and nick her questions, and I would then shout "WE'RE ALL ANNE ROBINSON!" At which point my audience and contestants would spring into action, chanting "I am Anne Robinson!" And we'd all form an enormous conga line and dance our way out of the studio, leaving Ms. Robinson floundering, without an audience, without constestants, without a show. Of course, the logistics of pulling such a stunt off are nearly impossible, so I didn't do anything about it.

Classic, but the difference in the money between the British version and the American version is unreal. To get a thousand dollars after one round in the US version is a dissapointment to them, in the UK version if the eventual winner goes home with a couple of thousand, they're cock-a-hoop.

the new zealand version features a malevolent midget woman who comes up with stupidly bitchy and snarky comments all the time. I can't understand why they don't laugh at her or say something rude back. Probably not in the rules.

Watching "Never Mind the Buzzcocks" the other night, that bloke (aaargh! Mark Lamarr, that's it) was being simply horrid to yer man out of Dollar. Really and continuously nasty. I had to switch off after a while. What a twat.

I am so delicate.

The divine LC is pushing me to go on TWL so I can abuse Ann Robinson. Should I apply?

i think anyone who agrees to go on Never Mind The Buzzcocks knows what they are letting themselves in for. and i for one larff heartily at Lamarr's juvenile gags
