Surely I'm not the only one watching it?

I'll say classic, even though this year's full of überbogans.

My prediction it'd be a house full of Australian Idol contestants ended up being wrong. Shame.

Hmm should this not have been prefaced with [Aust] to differentiate it from other BBs maybe? Eh well.

Im not a fan. I watched it breifly last night and very quickly got sick of half an hour of shrieked "ohmugGAWD" from all the very Chapel Street-eqsue girls. I cant stand loud shrieky women who talk up at the end of their sentences, ya know?

I thought of that, but things didn't seem to work that way here. Oh well, the URL's in that first post.

Yeah. I just couldn't get past the names. 'Ashalea'? 'Merlin'?

Autumn Almanac (Autumn Almanac), Monday, 3 May 2004 01:14 (twenty-one years ago)

One of the girls names was MERLIN? Good lord.

Trayce (trayce), Monday, 3 May 2004 01:18 (twenty-one years ago)

Nah, that's a bloke.

Autumn Almanac (Autumn Almanac), Monday, 3 May 2004 01:18 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh well thats perfectly normal then innit.

Trayce (trayce), Monday, 3 May 2004 01:20 (twenty-one years ago)

so what's the la de da secret then?

the surface noise (electricsound), Monday, 3 May 2004 01:21 (twenty-one years ago)

$1 million prize. Pants secret.

Autumn Almanac (Autumn Almanac), Monday, 3 May 2004 01:23 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh is that what it was? God that sucks.

Trayce (trayce), Monday, 3 May 2004 01:27 (twenty-one years ago)

I have neither seen it nor heard anything about it, but dud.

roxymuzak (roxymuzak), Monday, 3 May 2004 01:38 (twenty-one years ago)

Tough to differentiate the housemates from any other series really.

The house is pretty pimped out though, it looks like they've set things up hoping for a lot more touchy-feely action this time.

Mil, Monday, 3 May 2004 04:25 (twenty-one years ago)

I want to smash that girl Aphrodite in the face. Hate the dorky retro get-up. Five minutes into the house and she was already being a cow.

Hate all the surfer dudes and tarts, except for Kyrstal who looks like fun (and probably the most likely to get her ample ya-ya's out)

Merlin is pretentious, but seems OK otherwise. Igor (another to add to the worst name list....) is a revhead pig. Ryan is a gangly meathead. Trevor looks like a good bloke.

Mil, Monday, 3 May 2004 04:39 (twenty-one years ago)

I want Aphrodite's boots, despite being male and having no use for them.

It rated its pants off last night apparently, won its slot and pulled in roughly 50% of the 18-35 [ish] demographic.

Autumn Almanac (Autumn Almanac), Monday, 3 May 2004 04:42 (twenty-one years ago)

"Isn't love the theme tonight?" Yes, it is. You've brought it up w/every contestant.

Mr Mime (Andrew Thames), Monday, 3 May 2004 05:34 (twenty-one years ago)

I only watched about 5 mins of the show and already feel sorry for Trevor, he looked a bit out of place somehow - wandering off on his own - maybe I missed something.

That surfer git was a... git.

If they pitch married/taken people against single ones a la Temptation Island I'll drive up there and tip paint on Gretel Cowleens head personally.

Trayce (trayce), Monday, 3 May 2004 06:26 (twenty-one years ago)

I watched some tonight and i was disturbed. they were talking about poo and 'sharing' too much. I hope I don't get addicted.
