mullygrubber (gaz), Monday, 3 May 2004 03:40 (twenty-one years ago)

Why don't we list everything that's wrong with us? I have 2.25 hours to kill and need entertaining.

Autumn Almanac (Autumn Almanac), Monday, 3 May 2004 03:40 (twenty-one years ago)

not long enough for my sad list. you guys go on.

mullygrubber (gaz), Monday, 3 May 2004 03:41 (twenty-one years ago)

that would be a long list.

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Monday, 3 May 2004 03:42 (twenty-one years ago)

I can turn my tongue upside down.

Clockwise or anticlockwise?

Or freakishly both?

lint (Jack), Monday, 3 May 2004 03:43 (twenty-one years ago)

Well I have that leg thing.

"And Fry, you have that brain thing!"
"I already did!"

Trayce (trayce), Monday, 3 May 2004 03:44 (twenty-one years ago)

mullygrubber (gaz), Monday, 3 May 2004 03:46 (twenty-one years ago)

I miss Fry.

Autumn Almanac (Autumn Almanac), Monday, 3 May 2004 03:47 (twenty-one years ago)

Fry rocks. I love Futurama, as Im sure I have said a bajillion times before. 4 DVD box sets, you'd think I'd be tired of it all by now... BUT NOOOO.

Trayce (trayce), Monday, 3 May 2004 03:48 (twenty-one years ago)

Bender's my favourite.

"We love you Bender honey!"
"Shut up baby, I know it"

Trayce's inner mind revealed.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Monday, 3 May 2004 03:52 (twenty-one years ago)

"mind"

Trayce (trayce), Monday, 3 May 2004 03:53 (twenty-one years ago)

I'd sooo be in for a FAP right about now.

Er, if I could leave work two hours early.

And if I had money.

And if I could walk.

Damn.

Autumn Almanac (Autumn Almanac), Monday, 3 May 2004 03:56 (twenty-one years ago)

Hang on, so is this non walking thing fo real, also, is it permanent? Confused minds want to know.

Trayce (trayce), Monday, 3 May 2004 03:58 (twenty-one years ago)

Nah, it's been on-and-off since February.

I've got mentalist feet and my new orthotic soles have fuxored them, so until I get them fixed up I'm a bit immobile.

Autumn Almanac (Autumn Almanac), Monday, 3 May 2004 03:59 (twenty-one years ago)

FAP at yaks place!!!!!!!

mullygrubber (gaz), Monday, 3 May 2004 04:01 (twenty-one years ago)

Adam, you truly are a male me, its scary (I wear orthotics as well). So can you like not walk at all? :/ I mean, wheelchair/crutches or something?

Trayce (trayce), Monday, 3 May 2004 04:05 (twenty-one years ago)

I am being laughed at for singing all the words to the passions theme song. Is that so wrong?

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Monday, 3 May 2004 04:08 (twenty-one years ago)

the laughing or the singing? :P

the surface noise (electricsound), Monday, 3 May 2004 04:09 (twenty-one years ago)

I don't even know anymore.

My head feels woooooooooooozzzzzeeeeeee

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Monday, 3 May 2004 04:12 (twenty-one years ago)

I killed it again didn't I?

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Monday, 3 May 2004 04:22 (twenty-one years ago)

no everyone's off watching passions

the surface noise (electricsound), Monday, 3 May 2004 04:23 (twenty-one years ago)

Remember The Passions? 'I'm In Love With A German Film Star'?

the music mole (colin s barrow), Monday, 3 May 2004 04:25 (twenty-one years ago)

Am I the only person in the world who hasn't seen Passions?

So can you like not walk at all? :/ I mean, wheelchair/crutches or something?

Most days I can walk but it hurts like hell. Yesterday and today I've been getting about balancing on my heels, and apart from looking like a spazmo, it kills.

Once I get the new orthotics fixed up I should be fine, but they've already been adjusted 2398542395423 times and they're still useless.

I'm not sure what good crutches would do because it's both feet, and I hope it doesn't land me in a wheelchair because I live upstairs and work in a stupid cubicle.

Autumn Almanac (Autumn Almanac), Monday, 3 May 2004 04:29 (twenty-one years ago)

Damn that sucks :( I can sympathise, Ive worn orthotics since I was a teen but for the most part I'm fine, I just cant stand up for long periods (which makes gigging a royal pain, standing on concrete for more than half an hour and I'm in agony). Mostly just achy legs if I dont wear mine tho, and well, I walk like a retarded duck thanks to my leg alignment but everyone tells me "oh it isnt noticeable at all Trayce" which is bollox.

Trayce (trayce), Monday, 3 May 2004 04:35 (twenty-one years ago)

I didn't notice the other night Trayce, probably because I was more worried about my own feet I blistered up during James' shopping trip to end all shopping trips at Southland.

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Monday, 3 May 2004 04:38 (twenty-one years ago)

Me too, although my legs are aligned okay [no retarded duck!]. Usually I still walk a bit stiffly though.

The last orthotics were fine for several years, but the outsides wore down and caused incredible pain in my ankles and feet. Leg pressing at the gym is what really tipped them over the edge, putting loads of weight on bent ankles. As a consequence I've been to the gym three times in the last two months, and my weights are starting to reduce.

Autumn Almanac (Autumn Almanac), Monday, 3 May 2004 04:40 (twenty-one years ago)

:(

mullygrubber (gaz), Monday, 3 May 2004 04:46 (twenty-one years ago)

I should bring Rach to this discussion - she has steel pins in her feet.

the music mole (colin s barrow), Monday, 3 May 2004 04:54 (twenty-one years ago)

Oooh :(

Trayce (trayce), Monday, 3 May 2004 04:55 (twenty-one years ago)

Yes, her feet hurt a lot. They were poorly inserted too - they stick out on the surface of the skin.

the music mole (colin s barrow), Monday, 3 May 2004 04:57 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh god, yr kidding! I'll never complain about sore feet again :/

Trayce (trayce), Monday, 3 May 2004 04:57 (twenty-one years ago)

On the contrary! You should swap some horror stories while we're in Melbourne.

the music mole (colin s barrow), Monday, 3 May 2004 04:59 (twenty-one years ago)

Eeek! Why steel pins? What's wrong with her feet?

Autumn Almanac (Autumn Almanac), Monday, 3 May 2004 05:00 (twenty-one years ago)

Steel pins?

Check this out for gross:

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Monday, 3 May 2004 05:05 (twenty-one years ago)

heh, I just heard that Vanessa Amorosi is building fences for a living these days. I almost feel sorry for her.

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Monday, 3 May 2004 05:13 (twenty-one years ago)

Funny you should mention her! I should get N1ck to tell his van3ssa amaros1 stories. Something about working in the same bldg as her or... something.

Trayce (trayce), Monday, 3 May 2004 05:15 (twenty-one years ago)

Apparently there was a big article in the paper up here about her. Strange. According to the highly-reputable (heh) Courier Mail she's caught up in some kind of legal entanglements with her record label or something.

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Monday, 3 May 2004 05:17 (twenty-one years ago)

i always worried about her being a little too into her animals

the surface noise (electricsound), Monday, 3 May 2004 05:17 (twenty-one years ago)

OK, that totally gave me a mental picture I didnt want.

Trayce (trayce), Monday, 3 May 2004 05:18 (twenty-one years ago)

Have you seen her latest boyfriend? Totally hot but a little hairy.

Vanessa Amarosi - Threadkillah!

Trayce (trayce), Monday, 3 May 2004 06:08 (twenty-one years ago)

career killer!

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Monday, 3 May 2004 06:10 (twenty-one years ago)

no i don't think so. james will probably be too wasted to report back by then, although he is driving so maybe not.

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Friday, 14 May 2004 11:22 (twenty-one years ago)

any messages you'd like passed on?

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Friday, 14 May 2004 11:23 (twenty-one years ago)

tell them they have missed THE thread of the YEAR.

mullygrubber (gaz), Friday, 14 May 2004 11:24 (twenty-one years ago)

done!

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Friday, 14 May 2004 11:27 (twenty-one years ago)

anyway WE should chat about other stuff. WE don't need THEM!!

mullygrubber (gaz), Friday, 14 May 2004 11:30 (twenty-one years ago)

yeah exactly. seems they don't need us either! James' replies are rather slow.

so...uhhh....do you like...stuff?

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Friday, 14 May 2004 11:31 (twenty-one years ago)

yes. i quite like...stuff.

(i wonder what R is wearing?)

mullygrubber (gaz), Friday, 14 May 2004 11:32 (twenty-one years ago)

hehehe thats why i wanted to see some photos dammit!

so anyhow i discussed the heart with my sculpture teachers. They kept insisting i did it in copper because it's a bit easier to work with but when i dug my heels in they recommended i pop rivet it together, so it should be interesting.

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Friday, 14 May 2004 11:36 (twenty-one years ago)

wow. how large will it be? how would i mount it?

(i'm guessing something small and ripped, maybe some latex. col in a suit)

mullygrubber (gaz), Friday, 14 May 2004 11:39 (twenty-one years ago)

mount it? It ain't a marital aid gaz!

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Friday, 14 May 2004 11:43 (twenty-one years ago)

display it.

mullygrubber (gaz), Friday, 14 May 2004 11:46 (twenty-one years ago)

teehee!

i think if you tried to mount it you might get a sliced up wang given it'll be sharp and tinny.

I won't know how you can mount/display it till it's done. I was hoping to make it life size, however i may have to make it a little bigger but it certainly won't be huge. I'm envisioning it being maybe the size of a human head max.

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Friday, 14 May 2004 11:48 (twenty-one years ago)

ok and will it be two or three d?

(has jim messaged?)

mullygrubber (gaz), Friday, 14 May 2004 11:50 (twenty-one years ago)

3D.

No word from Jim.

I don't think he's mad at me, so he must just be enamoured with the finger rogered vulvas :)

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Friday, 14 May 2004 11:52 (twenty-one years ago)

mad at you?

(col has him pinned to a corner discussing blou*t)

mullygrubber (gaz), Friday, 14 May 2004 11:53 (twenty-one years ago)

yeah mad at me. but he's not and rarely is these days so it's all good.

heh, in all probability. :)

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Friday, 14 May 2004 11:54 (twenty-one years ago)

i heart the ol' jimbo.

mullygrubber (gaz), Friday, 14 May 2004 11:57 (twenty-one years ago)

me too! with every ounce of my being.

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Friday, 14 May 2004 11:57 (twenty-one years ago)

no no no, this isn't how it should be. we're supposed to be having a great time without them!

(i'm picturing jim revealing his cd and col starting to weep)

mullygrubber (gaz), Friday, 14 May 2004 12:00 (twenty-one years ago)

heh, i just reminded james that we were waiting on a reply. Maybe i'm being annoying.

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Friday, 14 May 2004 12:01 (twenty-one years ago)

get him so riled up he leaps on stage and bites R's thigh.

mullygrubber (gaz), Friday, 14 May 2004 12:05 (twenty-one years ago)

NEWSFLASH

From James:

"Colin says ha ha ha, he has pigs arse and he's so drunk he can barely stand"

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Friday, 14 May 2004 12:05 (twenty-one years ago)

HAS HE BEEN ON STAGE YET?

(not that it matters, eh? techno musicians: pressing start/yelling "south sydney")

mullygrubber (gaz), Friday, 14 May 2004 12:10 (twenty-one years ago)

james or gaz? :)

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Friday, 14 May 2004 12:11 (twenty-one years ago)

i mean james or colin.

must be getting sleepy.

who are you again? :)

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Friday, 14 May 2004 12:12 (twenty-one years ago)

i'm none to bad as it happens.

has col been onstage?

mullygrubber (gaz), Friday, 14 May 2004 12:12 (twenty-one years ago)

no i don't think so, although i fear i may have just missed a message because my inbox was full. Could just be james' tardiness re: replying.

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Friday, 14 May 2004 12:14 (twenty-one years ago)

are you majoring in sculpture?

mullygrubber (gaz), Friday, 14 May 2004 12:18 (twenty-one years ago)

sure am.

the class it actually called sculture and intermedia, and i chose this class because i enjoy intermedia, but not sculpture so much. But as it turns out the class is about 90% sculpture and 10% intermedia which pisses me and a number of other students off majorly.

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Friday, 14 May 2004 12:20 (twenty-one years ago)

intermedia being?

mullygrubber (gaz), Friday, 14 May 2004 12:21 (twenty-one years ago)

basically whatever you feel like using whatever materials you feel like.

so it can be painted objects or video or digital media or things made out of fabric (that's what i do). You know, whatever. I could knit a tent out of hessian string and call it intermedia.

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Friday, 14 May 2004 12:23 (twenty-one years ago)

haha my partner did textiles which sounds similar.

mullygrubber (gaz), Friday, 14 May 2004 12:26 (twenty-one years ago)

yup, sounds like it could be :)

I guess what i like to do is take crafts and make them art. For instance, obviously cross stich and embroidery are crafty type things, and arty farty types look down their noses at it. So it's kind of cool to take those kind of homegrown elements and use the technique to make something arty.

My teachers don't like it. I think they feel torn when they see a perfectly embroidered erect cock. It's craft, but no craftsperson would ever embroider something like that. :)

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Friday, 14 May 2004 12:30 (twenty-one years ago)

a perfectly embroidered erect cock

arty farty types look down their noses at it!!

whats cool with the arty farts then?

mullygrubber (gaz), Friday, 14 May 2004 12:34 (twenty-one years ago)

dunno, some swiss exchange student filled a huge transparent bag with water and corks. They wanked over it for ages. Not literally of course.

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Friday, 14 May 2004 12:36 (twenty-one years ago)

Hey gaz, this thread is just about at the 1000 posts mark. What do you think the new one should be called?

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Friday, 14 May 2004 12:38 (twenty-one years ago)

its weird. people must talk about the, uh, creative process, no? what the fuck do they say?

xpost i dunno: you wanna do it?

mullygrubber (gaz), Friday, 14 May 2004 12:40 (twenty-one years ago)

apparently it was about albert namatjira....apparently

nah, i don't wanna do it.

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Friday, 14 May 2004 12:42 (twenty-one years ago)

o come on. jims out. you wanna do it.

mullygrubber (gaz), Friday, 14 May 2004 12:45 (twenty-one years ago)

jim has nothing to do with it :)

i'm my own woman now (well i always was but you know)

i say whoever touches this thread first tomorrow morning has to do it.

ipsofacto (ipsofacto), Friday, 14 May 2004 12:48 (twenty-one years ago)

mullygrubber (gaz), Friday, 14 May 2004 12:50 (twenty-one years ago)

nah, i told him i was thinking of heading to bed soon and he kind of said goodnight, however i think it was directed to both of us. We'll get beltings if we don't get to bed!

apparently cherry2000 haven't been on yet, and frankly i'm too tired to stay up much later and wait for word.

hope you don't mind me bailing on you. Must be the night for it eh? :)
