Air Supply played in my little town this weekend. I didn't want to go but my brother had gotten two free tickets and my wife wanted to see them - apparently they are huge in Mexico and her Dad played them so much that she wound up learning quite a bit of English from them. Plus, the tickets were great (maybe 10 feet from the stage). After the intermission they both came out into the crowd. All these women - mostly in their 40's and 50's, were screaming their asses off as these two gray-haired men made their way up and down the aisles. Every song turned into "let's hear you!" and the crowd ate it up. They definitely have a ton of fans, even now.

Strangest moment of the show for me - I'm wearing my Packer jersey, and during some song where the tall, Ryan Stiles lookalike was singing, the short guy was just looking at us in the crowd, and he sees my jersey, and then belts me. I managed to belt him back before he looked away, but what a weird moment. I later found out these guys are from Australia. WTF!?

Every once in a while I have to listen to "All Out of Love" ten times in a row.

I don't think it was just a groin thrust. He clearly pointed at my jersey (which is #12) and then did it. And it did get all these women to look back at me and smile. "Can you believe what he did to you!?"

These guys aren't gay, are they? They kissed each other on the mouth in-between songs.

It took their courage for you to realize.
