Saturday-Went to the (horse) races with my two brothers (both were home for the weekend), lost about 20 euro in the end, which was annoying cos I was 30 euro up at one stage. Still, I got to drink copious amounts of free booze and it was a lovely sunny day, so I enjoyed it.
Got home and had a barbecue with the family, then that evening circa 11 I got itchy feet and my plans to stay in were fairly scuppered. Met a friend in the pub, had a few drinks.
Sunday-Woke up and took Sam, my nephew, for a walk, it took him a long time to fall asleep. Met a few friends which was quite funny. Got home then, attempted to do some essay work, didn't get any done. Then in the evening went out for dinner with the family, it was quite nice, then went to a friends house, had a few beers and went to the pub. It was a good night.
Monday-did absolutely nothing all day, tried to work again. ordered a pizza for dinner. fin.

sunday woke up, watched way too much WWE on sky one, then at 4pm realised that i was already late for another PARTY that starts at 2pm (social animal me!), drank this licorice smelling liquor that you SET ALIGHT before drinking! And witness some hardcore dancing by the PineFox.
monday went to cricklewood to have a fun kickabout with my mate in the park and played an epic game for barsie and got myself all muddy mmm mud. finished off the weekend with lovely, lovely Hilmarton Tandoori, and watching the last part of the snooker championship.
I also drew pictures of guns and roses on paintbrush.

I hate people who have no consideration for their neighbours. I wish I could have the weekend over again.

i went to national pop league, which was fun if (again) oppresively hot, i bought a birthday present, i ate at a Wetherspoons pub, i was shocked by the low quality of performers at the QM's unplugged night (shocked is perhaps the wrong word....), i started stating odds and taking bets on events in my friends and my lives. that's about it.

Then on Friday I stayed in bed til 3pm and then met up with friends in the West End, culminating in an ill-advised trip to a horrible Embankment club. I left in time to get the last train home.
Saturday I went to look at a house in Crouch End, and then Anna and I went and drank cocktails from 3pm - ruin was abeckoning when I left to meet up with Rob Bolton and friends over pasta and Cava and VH1. One bus ride later we're outside the Approach with mentalists and then over to Charlie No. 4's to hang with hipsters and square dance until the early hours.
Sunday - SUN! Yay! A load of us lounged in Greenwich Park pretty much all day, then various random people drifted in and we all went to the pub in the market and then on to a late bar, a couple of poncy candlelight drinks and then home.
Monday - rain. Absolute fuck all. Watched Fargo on DVD, and was so bored I practically fell asleep half way through. Got an early night after a pretty full-on weekend.

Saturday - Matt's parents arrived about 10am, drove out to Seven Sisters, had lunch, had a walk down to the shore, played in water with dogs, drove home, the parents departed, Matt and I cooked picnic food for...
...Sunday - Sophie picked us up in her car and we drove out to Ditchling, met Liz and Alex, walked about 8 miles over the Downs to Clayton windmills, this fabulous railway tunnel and PUB, then back to Ditchling too late for teashop grr (but where we saw Jamie Theakston and Erin O'Connor in another pub), then home, then tea and chat with Sophie, then food then sleep
Monday: did 2 hours study in a cafe, pottered around the house, did some tidying, cooked a nice curry, went for a sunset walk and an ice cream on the seafront, did a bit more studying, bed

Saturday: stayed in bed, went round to a friend's, as he'd decided to have an Indian Food Party. It was all very tasty, and after we'd eaten everything we went and sat around in the local children's playground. We sat about drinking and playing on the swings, until we were swamped by a horde of local teenagers who clearly thought it was their place to gather at night.
Sunday: stayed in bed. Tried to persuade people to go to the pub. Found that everyone was too tired from the previous night, still.
Monday: went round to a different friend's, so I could borrow their printer. Found that their printer was out of ink. Sat around at theirs all evening with various people, ate soup and apple crumble, and watched Dr Strangelove.

Saturday: Made pancakes for friends in the morning then went down to the Shore in Leith (I stay in Edinburgh) where we proceeded to drink in th sunshine. Found out the a friend had moved just moved into a flat very near where we were sitting. His back garden backs on to the water so we went along there for some drinks. Went across to the sunny side of the river to have seafood and ale when the sun hid behind the posh flats. Back to my newly moved friend's place for beer and pizza then attempted to go to Kid606 etc but my guest list fell through at the last minute. Went home to bed.
Sunday: Hangover (obv.). Came up with great keyboard riff. Played it all day.
Monday: Continued playing keyboards riff. Band practice in the evening. Now have song involving keyboard riff.

friday night i watched trash tv and ate pizza and drank wine with a few friends.
saturday i slept in, headed to the pub to meet the tennis people, had liz's lemon cake as breakfast, started drinking pimms, was advised on how to dress to fit in at an indie rock party, drank some cava, watched some videos, went to party where i (except when i was square dancing) was hiding in the corner, paralysed with shyness.
sunday we had a barbecue on clapham common, meaning more pimms for me. then watched sleepy hollow on tv and played video games until it was too late to get home.
yesterday i woke up and realised that my flip flops and vest, while appropriate for sunny sunday, were not appropriate for wet and cold monday. borrowed too-big skateboard shoes and hoody sweatshirt and went to lunch in chinatown, took a long nap, went to meet a couple friends for a drink, and then went to see eternal sunshine.
strangely, i don't feel like i did that much this weekend. i am a freak, clearly.

Saturday sunbathed and read in the garden with step sprogs while boyf dug barren wasteland at back of garden (soon to be a glorious meadow). While boyf dropped the sprogs off at the Evil She-Witches house I got the standard tirade of abuse from the maniac ned next door (wouldn't be a sunny day without it..).
Saturday night went to Rumpy's house with boyf, had booze and discussed Mr Pumpkins massive balls, amongst other things...
Sunday went to 1st b'day party/bbq, had booze, came home and fell asleep during sleepy hollow :0(
Yesterda had job interview (which I think I've got, yay!) and then did long overdue housework.

saturday = got up really late, did some shopping, went to watch a mini-festival on Ham's Piece, a field near my house, despite the bad weather. Discovered someone I worked with was organising it and someone else from work had come along, so chatted with them for a bit. went to see Franz Ferdinand at Brookes Uni student union with my friend Phil. Went on to the Transformation Club at the Zodiac afterwards and bumped into a v drunk Jenny from work. was surprised to see members of both FF's support bands (Fiery Furnaces and Sons & Daughters) on the dancefloor.
sunday = went to visit my Mum in London then went to Needles Bar off Great Portland Street to see some bands...a friend was on first doing a solo set, most of the rest was a tad post-rock for my liking.
monday = stayed in posting to ilx and doing other computery stuff whilst bemoaning the weather. Then went to Fun in the Parks (funfair in South Park, Headington) and the sun came out (hooray!). Drank cider and watched rather poor local bands. Wandered round funfair tho not going on the rides. Stood next to dodgems to hear out the classic 80s track Let The Music Play by Shannon. Went to pub.
